Today I wear a new red shawl made by a Mayan grandmother in town — woven by her hands, on the same loom she’s worked for more than 40 years.
I’ve passed her many times. Some days I gave nothing. Some days only a smile.
And today I bought one.
🔥
You could feel the energy change instantly — not because I rescued anyone, not because I “helped the poor,” but because I participated. I met her effort with my effort. Her devotion with my willingness to receive it.
🌈
Everyone wants to receive more from life: more connection, more abundance, more support.
But life answers us through reciprocity, not extraction.
🪽
Giving is not endless handouts.
Giving is recognition.
Giving is encouragement.
Giving is choosing someone’s art, someone’s work, someone’s dignity — and saying your expression matters enough to sustain you.
🦋
Sometimes giving is money.
Sometimes it’s attention.
Sometimes it’s a smile that reminds a person they are seen.
💸
When we support the creator, the mother, the elder, the neighbor — we don’t just move resources, we move meaning. We tell the world: keep creating, keep showing up, you belong here.
🦌
And strangely, that’s when life starts giving back.
💚
If you want to receive more, look for one place today to give rightly — not to fix, not to enable, but to empower.
🕊️
That is how community breathes.
That is how magic circulates.

🔥 As Erica Derrickson sings her new song of gratitude in the background, I’m packing my pendants and heading to Envision… 🔥

I leave for Envision Festival in Costa Rica to set up shop and offer my artwork to the world.

Today marks a powerful turning point.
The Chinese New Year welcomes the energy of the Year of the Horse — momentum, strength, forward motion. 🐎
And here in Guatemala, we step into the Mayan New Year of Kej — the sacred Deer — steady, heart-led, deeply connected to the earth. 🦌

Two currents.
One wave.

It feels like we are riding it consciously — embracing this new cycle with courage, devotion, and gratitude. I’m carrying these pieces as prayers… as offerings… as seeds of the future we’re building for our family and the projects unfolding back home on Lake Atitlán.

This path of becoming isn’t walked alone. Your love, your support, your encouragement — it all travels with us. And we are so grateful.

With that gratitude, I’m proud to share that 17% of all sales will go directly to the Water4Life Healing Waters with Jenna initiative here in Guatemala — supporting real, on-the-ground projects that protect and restore the sacred waters of Lake Atitlán.

Art.
Abundance.
Service.
New beginnings.

We ride forward together. 💛🔥💚🌈🦅

Captain’s Log 🌿

I haven’t posted in a while — it’s been a season of big change and big energy.
Sitting in ceremony. Hosting the Hummingbird Retreat with Erica Derrickson. Then stepping straight into family time, it was not easy.
And I want to say this clearly: the women of that retreat held me just as much as I held space for them. In many ways, it felt like being hosted by a circle of incredible mothers — grounding me, humbling me, and reminding me what devotion to the feminine truly looks like. That experience tied something together in my heart and helped me understand my purpose more deeply. Change is the only constant, nothing remains the same.🌊

There’s been a remembering since then —
a coming back home to the heart.
A sense that finding our true direction often means big emotions and releasing a few old maps together.
Old patterns. Old dreams.
Things that once guided us, but don’t quite fit who we’re becoming.

Change doesn’t announce itself.
It unfolds through lived experience —
through wandering, conflict, conversation, triggers
and the courage to keep dreaming while staying open to wonder.

We’re learning that real magic isn’t about being brighter or smaller.
It’s about rhythm.
About meeting one another just right —
not turning away, not overpowering —
so inspiration can move naturally between us,
like a spark passed hand to hand.

Sharing this for anyone sensing a shift,
feeling called toward something truer,
and discovering that purpose often reveals itself
through hardship, curiosity, and walking alongside others.

If this finds you, welcome aboard.
We’re learning as we go — together. 🌱✨
Keep dreaming, and let go🌊🕊️🙏💚

These past days have been deeply moving.
Sitting in circle with the women, witnessing real transformation, listening to stories shared across cultures, learning the Mayan calendar, and being guided by the nanas and elders here has been a true gift.

We walked the streets and church of Santiago with Dolores, sat by the fire, laughed, cried, remembered who we are. On the final day, Mark Elmy The Four Pillars joined us and helped give language to what many of us were feeling — bridging worlds, philosophies, and ways of knowing with clarity and heart.

In the midst of all of this, a familiar magic stirred in me again: music.
I’ve always known it lives at the center of my path, and I feel renewed.

The instrument I’m playing here is a kora that I built myself some time ago. I’ve been learning her slowly, patiently. She carries rhythm, devotion, and story — and right now she feels like the clearest way I know how to say thank you.

Thank you to the women, the elders, the Mayan wisdom keepers, and this land — for the renewal, the inspiration, and the reminder that our purpose often finds us when we are simply present, listening, and creating from the heart.

If this music reaches you, may it remind you of your own inner fire 🤍🔥

How one life, one stand, continues to heal across time…

Yesterday, during the Hummingbird Retreat 🐦✨, we visited the sacred church in Santiago Atitlán—built in the 1500s atop an ancient Mayan temple 🕯️🌿, where time, spirit, and devotion interweave and breathe together.

Guided by Dolores 🤍, a famous elder, who lived through the hardship of colonialism. We learned about the people, the history, and the living memory held within this place. We were deeply moved by the story of Father Stanley, who stood firmly for the people—anchored in light, love, and peace 🌞💛. Because of that devotion, he was taken in the night. His life became an offering in service to the community he loved, and his presence is still felt there—steadfast, humble, and alive 🕊️🔥.

Being in that space together felt ancient and activated—like a shared remembering ✨. Cultures meeting 🤝. Hearts softening 💞. Wisdom moving through elders, land, and spirit 🌎🌬️.

What this day reflected so clearly—and what this entire retreat has been about—is the power of living in your truth. When we stand in our light, aligned with our purpose and inner knowing, healing naturally ripples outward 🦋. It’s when we abandon our truth—when we pretend, conform, or live out of alignment—that disharmony takes root. Every life has a purpose, and remembering it brings us back into wholeness 💫.

I feel so deeply grateful to serve these women 🌸 and to witness the courage it takes to return to what is real, honest, and alive within each of us.

What a beautiful, humbling day. 🙏🐦✨

This morning I went for a walk, reflecting on the retreat we’re hosting and the power of coming together to share stories, wisdom, and lived experience. There’s something deeply transformative that happens when we sit in circle, listen across cultures, and allow ourselves to be seen.

So many of us reach a moment where we feel the call to change course — to rewrite our story, to return to what feels true, to remember why we’re here. That kind of clarity doesn’t always come from striving or forcing. Often, it arrives through connection. Through listening. Through witnessing one another and realizing we’re not alone in our questions or our becoming.

When one person finds the courage to heal, to choose differently, to speak their truth, it creates a ripple. That ripple becomes inspiration. That inspiration becomes movement. And slowly, that movement touches families, communities, and the wider world. This is the butterfly effect of gathering — one spark lighting another.

I believe inspiration is how we find our way back to ourselves… and how we help others do the same.

💛✨ Feeling so grateful today ✨💛

We’re on day two of our retreat, and my heart feels so full being in devotion to the sacred feminine, the Mother, and the wisdom that emerges when women gather to support one another, share stories, and remember what truly matters — family, connection, and care across generations.

Today we’re preparing for a beautiful fire ceremony hosted by the Mayan Nanas — grandmothers and wisdom keepers — who are coming to hold the space, guide the prayers, and share ancestral knowledge. It feels like a deep honor to receive their medicine and witness this meeting of cultures and hearts. 🔥🌺

In that spirit, I want to share two new Hummingbird Series pendants I just completed. Both are wrapped in silver and gold ✨ and carry a surprising depth for their size. One is the smallest pendant I’ve ever made — and somehow, the most potent. 🐦💫

What I love most is how these two hummingbirds speak to contrast. One shines bright and luminous, the other holds deeper, more mysterious tones — both beautiful, both necessary. A small reminder that light and dark don’t oppose one another… they support one another. That what shapes us can also strengthen us, and that harmony is often born from contrast.

These two pieces were created as reflections of this retreat — devotion, resilience, sweetness, and the wisdom that comes from walking life together. They’re now available on my website.

Sometimes the best medicine is a simple walk.
A little breeze, some trees, your furry friends by your side… it resets everything.
Where ever you are nature is never far.
Come with me 🙏🧙
Take a moment today to step outside, breathe, and let nature hold you.

A little reminder to get out, wander, and support local when you can 🌿
Today took us to San Juan La Laguna — such a beautiful town filled with art, color, and heart.

Bought some canvas locally, soaked in the views, and felt grateful to support the community that makes this place so special. Small choices, real impact ✨
