Our flame-blued hands are made a little differently. 🔥

Instead of placing the hands in a machine to heat them evenly, we use a real flame—just like traditional watchmakers did.

This hands-on process gives each set of hands its own character. Depending on the heat and timing, the colour can shift from classic blue to beautiful shades of purple, which is why purple hands are also available as an option.

Because every hand is heated by fire individually, the colour may not be perfectly even like machine-baked hands. But to us, that small variation is part of the charm: it is human, traditional, and truly one of a kind.

As you may have noticed, many of our watches feature flame-blue hands. 💙🔥
But what makes them special is not just the colour.
Instead of using a painted or baked finish, our hands are heat-blued using a traditional watchmaking technique. Each hand is carefully heated over an open flame until the steel slowly transforms into that distinctive deep blue tone.
It is a small detail that can be easy to miss in photos. But under different light, the blue comes alive with subtle changes in colour and reflection.
For those who appreciate the craft behind a watch, it is one of those details you can truly feel when you look a little closer.

好消息！我們的新店即將登場，地點為 PMQ 中環。
我們將於 2026年8月18日從 The Mills 南豐紗廠搬出。新店將於 8月22日至9月中旬進行 soft launch，而正式開幕則預計在 9月中旬舉行。

🔔Relocation Announcement - 搬遷公告📣
Thank you all for supporting our EONIQ store at The Mills over the past 8+ years. It’s been an incredible journey, and we’re so grateful to have met so many amazing friends, customers, and staff here. The Mills holds many special memories for us, and our next chapter will be a brand new challenge that we’re very excited about.
If you’d like to join a workshop, try on watches, or pick up your order at our The Mills store, please make sure to do so by the end of July.
Our new store will be located on Hong Kong Island, and we’ll be sharing more details very soon.

We’re always happy to see the stories behind each watch❤️
This piece belongs to a customer who married a Hong Kong girl—and was given a Chinese name by his mother-in-law. That name was pad printed onto the dial, turning the watch into something deeply personal.
It’s more than just a timepiece. It’s a story of identity, family, and a new chapter in life—captured on the wrist.
