some projects stay with you.

this was one of mine.

i created this necklace for balázs jakab for his role in EX**SY at katona józsef színház, directed by jakab tarnóczi.

when i first saw the performance, i had a clear thought: st.rk’s STONE collection had found its face.

luckily, he was open to the idea.

he gave me a small glimpse into the play and the freedom they had to experiment with styling and finding their way into each character.

that’s when the idea arrived:
to make a necklace dedicated specifically to his character.

the piece found its place within the performance.

EX**SY is a multimedia production, with real-time close-ups projected onto huge screens beside the stage. seeing the necklace there — enlarged, catching the light, becoming part of the image — was a special feeling.

certainly a memorable one.
still nice to look back on.
