What a day 🫶
I started on the road about 7am this morning heading towards Hook Lighthouse from New Ross in Co Wexford, not as much as a dog out on the street, such a beautiful display of Wexford flags over the O’Hanrahan bridge in New Ross town, quick stop at the JF Kennedy The Emigrant Flame with the Dunbrody Famine Ship. On out to Hook Lighthouse I had the place to myself until the lovely Tracy unlocked the gates.
Such an amazing day, thanks to all that popped by to collect their pre-orders, those that stopped for the ole chat about my Coast to Coast shells and all that purchased a little piece of Ireland to have in their homes.
My scone was just delicious served with wexford jam and lots of fresh cream.
Thanks again to all at The Hook Lighthouse in the Sunny South East for such an amazing day
I was delighted to bring a beer (or two) on my journey from the Northwest to the South East 😉

Silly me not to check tide timetable before visiting Kilmore Quay to harvest scallop shells, however a fabulous fish n chip from The Little Saltee Restaurant & Takeaway went down a treat 😋
