The Divya Kalyanam collection is inspired by the legendary wedding of Meenakshi and Sundareshwara, one of the most significant divine unions in South Indian tradition.

According to the story, Meenakshi was born a princess and raised as a warrior queen. She was trained to rule, led armies, and conquered kingdoms. During one of her conquests, she encountered Lord Shiva in the form of Sundareshwara. In that moment, it is believed she recognised her equal, and her journey as a conqueror came to completion.

Their wedding, held in Madurai, is celebrated even today as Meenakshi Thirukalyanam—a symbol of balance between strength and calm, power and stability.
