Taste : Lip smacking food 💐

We believe, it’s safe to agree to the fact that a lot of people are more talented than they give themselves credit for, being locked inside our homes taught us how we can create a lot of our favourite dishes with simple ingredients and enjoy plating that food before enjoy its flavours.

Tell us what you tried your hands on and enjoyed the most and we will feature your drinks & food on our story. 🥟🍮

Smell : Freshness 💐

From blooming fresh flowers to raindrops falling on the ground and the ground kindly spreading the exuberance in the air, we all have enjoyed something refreshing during these past few months.

What did you experience and enjoy most?

Hear : Chirping 🐦

“Scientists call this the dawn chorus. Birds can sing at any time of day, but during the dawn chorus their songs are often louder, livelier, and more frequent.”

Did the birds ever stop chirping or were we just always too occupied to sit down, relax and hear them do so?
Birds have a habit of chirping and singing in the mornings, it’s a way for them to communicate to each other and the world that it’s time to celebrate a new day and we were blessed to be able to celebrate and appreciate new days with them.

What was your favourite sound to hear these past few months?

Touch : Play 🎹 🎷

Old instruments were dusted, strings and keys were tuned, and we finally had the luxury of time to be able to touch the surface of our pianos and guitars.
Our very dear friends practiced and entertained us with their skills these past few months and we enjoyed them playing, beyond our expectations!

Did you play an instrument or plant a tree of cuddle your pet? What did your sense of touch enjoy doing most this year?

Struggles and tensity are inevitable in today's ruthlessly competitive world and this pandemic has contributed greatly to increasing the levels of anxiety and pressure in peoples lives. But, we humans are quite good at finding things to keep our sanity intact, in fact, we are better than we give ourselves credit for. Isolation during the time of this pandemic initially brought out a lot of negativity and frustration in people which was not entirely unexpected. But, as time passed, we saw our fellow human beings come out as people who were more patient and positive and self-exploratory than ever before.

Our five senses have experienced a drastic change during these times of dismay as well, right? But, we are sure they're not all that bad. This lockdown has helped almost each one of us explore something we always enjoyed doing but never quite had the time for, be it cooking or reading, working out or sewing, running or meditating, playing an instrument to writing that book we always had the perfect idea for. This week, we decided to tell you one thing that we saw dominating each of our senses during this lockdown. We hope you enjoy a quick recollection of the five most basic yet underappreciated things this lockdown taught us to appreciate.

Stop. Self-motivate. Continue.
Every once in a while, we all should take a short break and write a letter or ten to ourselves so as to survive the constant hardships in life. We may not always have a cheerleader but that shouldn’t stop us from cheering for ourselves. 🕺🏻
Thank you for this greatly motivational letter

This letter is dedicated to a couple of young cousins, from a responsible and wonderful elder sister.
The content of this letter is very very personal and brave, it talks about responsibility, selfless love, showcases vulnerability and provides strength to those who need it.
May his kind soul rest is peace. 🙏🏻
Thank you for being a part of our self expression campaign, Priya. We appreciate you and your effort from the bottom of our hearts.

To an eighty (80) year old mother
From a fifty three (53) year old daughter

No matter the age, or the distance, a daughter feels these emotions towards her parents even after decades of being married and away from her maternal home.
Thank you for a beautiful letter
