Is a mythological character found in odia Mahabharata written by Sarala Das.

According to this epic during the penance on a hill, Arjun the prince of hastinapur first saw this rupa of lord Vishnu. A creature with nine different animal characteristics, head of a rooster, neck of a peacock, stands on three feet of elephant,tiger and deer, the fourth was a raised human arm holding a lotus. A slender waist topped with a hump of bull and snake as a tail.

Arjun was terrified by this creature and raised to shoot his bow, but after seeing lotus in hand he realized it's a manifestation of lord Vishnu. Hello droped his weapon and bowing infront of "Navagunjara".
