Jaipur has always spoken in a distinct visual language; in its frescoes, cusped arches, painted facades, carved stone, repeating geometries and the particular rhythm of colour that runs through the city. Architecture was never simply structural; it was ornament, pattern and detail, much like jewellery. The same instinct to frame, layer, repeat and embellish finds its way from the walls of Jaipur into the pieces worn upon the body.

As one of Jaipur’s early appointed jewellers, Rawat Jewels has long looked to this architectural vocabulary as a source of design. The city’s frescoes, proportions and ornamental details continue to inform our approach to form, surface and composition; translating something deeply rooted in Jaipur’s built landscape into jewellery that belongs to the same visual conversation.
