Pradarshan, derived from the Sanskrit word for “display” or “presentation,” refers to the act of revealing craftsmanship, artistry, and cultural knowledge through object and form. Within the context of Indian jewellery traditions, it signifies not only ornamentation, but also the visible evidence of technique, material and maker.

This ‘kadha’ by Rawat Jewels features Partaash work executed through detailed hand-carving and surface texturing, with ruby jadai set across the form and an emerald cabochon placed at the centre.

The composition reflects a continued engagement with artisanal jewellery-making practices, where material, technique, and ornament exist in close dialogue.

Balance, symmetry, and extraordinary craftsmanship.

This singular ring is conceived in two distinct halves - the upper form carved from a single Natural Emerald, born from one uninterrupted rough, preserving the continuity and character of the original stone.

It rests atop a _Partaash_ gold band, an exceptional traditional technique where master artisans hand-carve deep grooves into gold, creating an illusion reminiscent of black enamel work while remaining entirely metal. The interplay between the luminous green emerald and the textured gold surface evokes the sensibility of historic royal jewels and ceremonial ornamentation.

A piece that speaks not only of rarity in material, but also of the disappearing language of hand craftsmanship.

Three compositions in Zambian emeralds and polki diamonds, arranged in a graduated rhythm.

Set in gold, the necklaces draw from traditional North Indian jewellery forms while moving toward a sharper, more sculptural silhouette.

Composed largely of pear-shaped cut emeralds, with oval-cut stones appearing in the upper necklace; the repetition creates a sense of movement, almost architectural against the body.

In the heart of Johari Bazaar, beneath painted facades, carved balconies and corridors shaped by centuries of craftsmanship, stands Maliram Puranmal Rawat; among the jewellery houses appointed to the city since Jaipur’s very origin.

The iconic Rawat family building remains deeply woven into the old city’s jewellery legacy. While the showrooms have since expanded beyond the walled city and far beyond Jaipur itself, much of the work still returns here; to these rooms, these windows, this light.

There is an instinctive pull to the space. The soft north light that falls perfectly onto gemstones, the familiarity of the surrounding karigars and ateliers, the rhythm of Johari Bazaar itself; all of it continues to shape the making process even today.

More than an address, this building remains a working archive of Jaipur’s jewellery history, where generations of craftsmanship continue ✨
