At the heart of Antwerp, the focus wasn’t on announcements—it was on conversation.

Our director, Sameep Mehta joined industry leaders on how we can collectively move the natural diamond value chain forward—from source to market, and from today into the future.

The conversation was held in the world’s oldest diamond bourse, Beurs voor Diamanthandel, the strategic importance of the Luanda Accord took center stage during the visit of a high-level Angolan delegation to Antwerp.

In front of more than 120 members of the Antwerp diamond community, representatives of SODIAM, Endiama, the Natural Diamond Council, and De Beers spoke with one voice on the future of natural diamonds and the critical role the Luanda Accord plays in supporting the communities that depend on this industry.
