A guest lecture has been arranged for all the S.E Civil students. Students are codially invited to attens the guest lecture.

About the guest:-
Prof. Phadke has done his Post grad. from COE, Pune in Soil mechanics and has 50 years of experience, of which 24 years he has worked in organisations like MES, ECIL, HCC Ltd. In varioud capacities involving construction of towers, bridges, power houses, tunnels, etc. For 20 years, he has served as a professor in MIT, Pune. We are very grateful to have such a great person amongst us.

At a recent event B.E Felicitations and S.E Welcome conducted by Civil Department, Mr. Umesh Zirpe was invited as our Chief Guest. He is an excellent Mountaineer and works in the firm Giripremi.
In his career, Mr. Umesh zirpe has..
Led three consecutive successful expeditions to highest peaks in the world.
Leader of Giripremi’s Pune Everest 2012 Expedition.
Mt. Everest - World’s highest mountain.
Led 12 member team in this expedition.
8 members summited Mt.Everest on 19th May 2012.
It was a biggest successful civilian expedition from India.
Leader of Giripremi’s Lhotse-Everest 2013 Expedition.
Mt. Lhotse - World’s 4th highest mountain.

At a first civilian joint expedition from India. He,
Led 4 member team on this both peaks.
3 members summited Mt.Everest on 17th May 2013.
1 member summited Mt.Lhotse on 16th May 2013.
Leader of Giripremi’s Makalu 2014 Expedition.
Mt. Makalu - World’s 5th highest mountain.
It was a first civilian expedition from India.
Led 3 member team.
And also led many more expeditions in Indian Himalayas.
