Sparkling Impressions

From humble beginnings 30 years ago in small workshops in Bombay to having 3 manufacturing units and studios in 2 cities for her premium range of Diamond Jewellery, the story of how Shruti Gems has come a long way

" Thirty years back, the idea of women working hadn't set in, specially in India", recalls Shruti Karnani, the proprietor of Shruti Gems

Also the few women that worked at that time were either dealing with clothing or food items, so when she decided to begin this venture in the male dominated Diamond jewellery industry a lot of eyebrows were raised.

It took a lot of dedication, hard work and support of the family that helped her take Shruti Gems to the platform it has reached today. She studied Gemmology and did a couple of short term courses in jewellery designing and diamond grading to ensure a strong base and learning of the industry.
