Cambodia needs PEACE, NOT WAR 🇰🇭
Cambodia has never initiated any attack since the first day of this conflict. We have consistently and strictly respected the ceasefire agreement and all efforts toward a peaceful resolution.

However, the world can clearly see the reality on the ground: Thailand’s aggression, including the use of heavy weapons against civilian homes, schools, pagodas, and public infrastructure. These actions cannot be justified as self-defense or retaliation. They are unlawful attacks and invaded on Cambodian territory.

If Thailand truly desires peace, why are our 18 soldiers still being detained, even after peace treaty agreements were signed (witnessedby Mr President Donald J. Trump and Anwar Ibrahim )? This contradiction speaks louder than words.

Once again, the repeated use of mine-incident accusations has been employed as a tactic to provoke escalation and justify further invasion into Cambodian land.

Let it be clear to the world and international community:
Cambodia seeks only peace, sovereignty, and the protection of its people.
We ask for justice. We ask for truth. And above all, we ask for PEACE 🙏🇰🇭

ខ្ញុំសូមថ្កោលទោសចំពោះការប្រើប្រាស់អំពើហិង្សារបស់ភាគីថៃមកលើប្រជាពលរដ្ឋស៊ីវិលស្លូតត្រង់កម្ពុជានៅភូមិព្រៃចាន់ នាល្ងាចថ្ងៃទី១២ ខែវិច្ឆិកា ឆ្នាំ ២០២៥ នេះ ដែលបណ្តាលឱ្យប្រជាពលរដ្ឋស៊ីវិលស្លូតត្រង់កម្ពុជារបួស៣នាក់ និងស្លាប់បាត់បង់ជីវិត ១នាក់។

ទង្វើនេះ គឺខុសច្បាប់មនុស្សធម៌អន្តរជាតិ និងច្បាប់អន្តរជាតិ ហើយផ្ទុយទៅនឹងស្មារតីមនុស្សធម៌ ក៏ដូចជាការឯកភាពគ្នាកន្លងមកក្នុងការដោះស្រាយបញ្ហាព្រំដែនដោយសន្តិវិធី ជាពិសេស ការឯកភាពឱ្យយន្តការ គណៈកម្មាការចម្រុះព្រំដែន (JBC) ចុះវាស់វែង និងបោះបង្គោលបណ្តោះអាសន្ន និងត្រូវរក្សាស្ថានភាពដើម ដដែលរហូតដល់ការវាស់វែងត្រូវបានបញ្ចប់ និងរង់ចាំការសម្រេចដោយ JBC។

ខ្ញុំសូមអោយភាគីថៃ បញ្ឈប់ជាបន្ទាន់នូវការប្រើប្រាស់កម្លាំងមកលើប្រជាពលរដ្ឋស៊ីវិលស្លូតត្រង់កម្ពុជានៅភូមិព្រៃចាន់ ក៏ដូចជាការប្រើប្រាស់កម្លាំងក្នុងការដោះស្រាយបញ្ហាព្រំដែនរវាងប្រទេសទាំងពីរ។

ខ្ញុំសូមអោយមានការបើកការស៊ើបអង្កេតដោយឯករាជ្យលើករណីនេះ និងសូមអំពាវនាវអោយមានការចូលរួមពីភាគីបរទេសដែលមានជំនាញ ដើម្បីស្វែងរកការពិត ការទទួលខុសត្រូវ និងផ្តល់យុត្តិធម៌ជូនប្រជាពលរដ្ឋដែលរងគ្រោះដោយសារការបាញ់ប្រហារនេះ។

ជាមួយគ្នានេះ ខ្ញុំសូមឱ្យអាជ្ញាធរដែនដី និងគ្រប់កងកម្លាំងសមត្ថកិច្ចទាំងអស់ចាត់វិធានការជាបន្ទាន់ ក្នុងការការពារប្រជាពលរដ្ឋរបស់យើង ជាពិសេសត្រូវគិតគូរលើសុវត្ថិភាព និងអាយុជីវិតរបស់ពួកគាត់ ឱ្យបានជាដាច់ខាត ។

កម្ពុជានៅរក្សាជំហរក្នុងការដោះស្រាយបញ្ហាដោយសន្តិវិធី ស្របតាមស្មារតីនៃសេចក្តីថ្លែងការណ៍រួមទីក្រុងគូឡាឡាំពួ នៅថ្ងៃទី ២៦ ខែតុលា ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ ដើម្បីឈានទៅដល់ការបញ្ចប់ជម្លោះ និងកសាងសន្តិភាពរវាងប្រទេសទាំងពីរ។

I strongly condemn the unprovoked use of violence by the Thai side against innocent Cambodian civilians in Prey Chan Village in the afternoon of 12 November 2025, which resulted in injuries to three Cambodian civilians and the tragic loss of one life.

This act violates international humanitarian law and international law, and goes against humanitarian principles and the mutual agreement previously reached to resolve border issues through peaceful means—especially the agreement to allow the Joint Boundary Commission (JBC) to conduct survey and emplacement of temporary markers, and to maintain the status quo until the completion of the survey and a final decision by the JBC.

I call on the Thai side to immediately cease the use of force against innocent Cambodian civilians in Prey Chan Village and to refrain from any use of force in addressing border issues between our two countries.

I also call for an independent investigation into this incident and appeal for the participation of qualified international parties to uncover the truth and those responsible in order to deliver justice for the victims.

At the same time, I instructed the local authorities and all security forces to take urgent measures to protect our civilians—placing absolute priority on their safety and lives.

Cambodia remains committed to resolving this border issue peacefully, in accordance with the spirit of the Joint Declaration signed in Kuala Lumpur on 26 October 2025, with the goal of ending the conflict and building peace between our two nations.
