Knowledge is power! ⚡️
Last week, our 920As gathered for a premier WOPD session hosted by 8A G4. The highlight? A visit from CW5 Sanchez, the INDOPACOM SR 920A!
From mastering PBO best practices to discussing the impact of AI in our daily workflows, it was an afternoon of growth and professional networking. CW5 Sanchez also dropped gems on OERs, evaluations, and the WO bid process. 💎
Big thanks to the 8A G4 team for putting this together!

Sharpening the spear by focusing on the person behind the rank! 🛡️🧠
The Morning Calm Chapter (USAWOA) kicked off our February Warrant Officer Professional Development (WOPD) with an impactful session hosted by CW3 Bradley Garrett.
As technical experts, we know how to maintain complex systems—but CW3 Garrett reminded us that our most important "system" is ourselves. The discussion dove deep into Total Health and Productivity, focusing on:
Mental Health at Work: Breaking the stigma and building resilience in high-pressure environments.
Boosting Clarity: Practical strategies to cut through the noise and maintain focus as "Quiet Professionals".
Work-Life Balance: Fueling the body with proper nutrition and ensuring we are as sharp off-duty as we are on-duty.
A huge thank you to CW3 Garrett for leading from the front and providing the tools to help our cohort thrive both personally and professionally. When we invest in our well-being, we invest in the readiness of the entire Peninsula! 🇰🇷⚔️
Missed the session? Be sure to catch us at our next Coffee with the Chief or monthly Lunch with Chief to stay connected and continue your professional growth.

Building the future in the Land of the Morning Calm! 🇰🇷🛡️
Today, members of the USAWOA Morning Calm Chapter gathered at Camp Humphreys to celebrate a trifecta of major milestones: a Promotion, Re-enlistment, and PCS Award ceremony!
There’s nothing quite like the energy of seeing our "Quiet Professionals" recognized for their dedication and technical expertise. Whether it’s pinning on new rank, committing to further service, or receiving a well-earned farewell award before a Permanent Change of Station (PCS), these moments are the heartbeat of our cohort. 🦅✨
Huge congratulations to our honorees! Your hard work doesn't just raise the bar—it sets it. We are incredibly proud to serve alongside leaders who continue to lead from the front and invest in the readiness of the Peninsula. 🇰🇷⚔️

Investing in the total health of the cohort! 🛡️🍎
On 12 FEB 26, the Morning Calm USAWOA Chapter hosted another successful Lunch with Chief professional development session. This month, we focused on mentorship and the pillars of readiness with guest speaker CW3 Bradley Garrett.
CW3 Garrett shared essential insights on maintaining work-life balance, prioritizing mental health, and fueling the body with proper nutrition. As technical experts and leaders, staying resilient off-duty is just as critical as our performance on-duty.
Huge thanks to CW3 Garrett for the mentorship and to everyone who joined us for this month’s "men-trip-ship" event!

☕️ Morning Calm USAWOA Chapter – Monthly “Coffee with the Chief”
📍 Camp Humphreys | October

The Morning Calm Chapter of the U.S. Army Warrant Officers Association (USAWOA) brought Warrant Officers from across Camp Humphreys together for our monthly Coffee with the Chief an informal, yet powerful networking event that connects leaders across cohorts.

This recurring event is about more than just coffee:
🔹 Fostering mentorship across the Warrant Officer Corps
🔹 Sharing experiences, lessons learned, and opportunities
🔹 Building inter-branch professional relationships
🔹 Reinforcing the values and identity of our Warrant Officer Cohort

Events like these strengthen our community and remind us that leadership means being present, approachable, and committed to developing the next generation of technical experts.

👏 Thank you to everyone who joined us this month. Mark your calendars and bring a peer to the next Coffee with the Chief—together, we keep the cohort strong!

Leadership Insights: Morning Calm Chapter WOPD 🇰🇷⚔️
The Morning Calm Chapter of the USAWOA recently hosted our "Lunch with a Chief" at Camp Humphreys. CW4 Shin led a powerful WOPD session on this month’s professional reading, "The Mission, The Men, and Me" by Pete Blaber.
Top Takeaways from CW4 Shin:
Listen to the Guy on the Ground: Prioritize real-world context over rigid plans.
Humility is Key: Lead by putting the mission and your Soldiers before yourself.
Adaptability: Don't let bureaucracy or "chihuahuas" distract from the objective.
Thank you, CW4 Shin, for sharing your thoughts on leadership and sharpening our "Quiet Professional" edge.
Get Involved: Check out more professional resources at the USAWOA Portal or view the Army Professional Reading List.
