3born->art is a small jewelry studio in the Centre Socio Educatif de l'Etat Dreiborn in Luxembourg. Our pupils (girls and boys from 13 to 18) are placed by the juvenile court. The reasons for placements are mainly: drug abuse, crime, family problems and/or school problems. Working on the pieces, the pupils learn to know their capacities, they create a unique object and are very proud of their work. This is especially important for our youngsters, because their school career has been too often marked by failure in the past. By the recognition of their work, they gain in self-confidence. The earned money goes to the non-profit organisation "les amis des jeunes en détresse".
