It’s been a few years since I’ve visited Mexico. Went opal shopping, milked a goat, got a massage and a sunburn at the hot springs, spent some much needed time with friends I’ve missed dearly, my parents and grandparents. As well as tying up some personal things that really needed to get done.

This trip has cost me a lot, so I’m winding up to be posting a few new pieces on my website, and I have some shows coming up too! It’s been hard to focus on jewelry and posting on this f*kin app with a part time job but I’m coming back yall :) I have some new designs in the works I’m so excited to share. I’ll definitely be having a huge Opaluz collection this year I’m excited about!

Custom Eclipse Signet 🌙

I love makin these. For this one I used some diamonds from my client’s heirloom ring, and we went with the softer round signet instead of the square. Baguette diamonds and sun rays and 18kt gold granulation ✨

I have a show coming up I’m so excited about! This one is close to home in Gig Harbor, with the . It’s the weekend of the 20-21✨

What I’m really looking forward to is doing a show closer to home! Gig harbor is on my side of the Narrows Bridge and just 45 minutes away, so I’m excited to meet more art lovers in the area and provide my services as a local jeweler. Stop by and say hello! Who says you can’t mix your metals?

I’m not really into white gold. Most white gold on the market contains nickel to give it the white color, and it’s common practice to plate the piece in rhodium anyway. I’m kinda like what’s the point? Don’t get me wrong, there are some white gold alloys on my list that’d I’d love to try, including a palladium white gold that has a purple tinge to it!

I prefer my gold with some color, like this buttery 18kt granulation alloy. Paired with sterling silver makes the golden top of these signets pop!

Our Story

Alchemists use a moon symbol to represent silver, and Lunita means "little moon." Corina Lunita is my name in English translated to Spanish, and it just sounded so right to use as my artist identity.

I'm a self-taught silversmith who works with sterling silver and natural gemstones. I focus mainly on Mexican stones, such as obsidian, fire agate, turquoise, and especially Mexican Opals: some mines are located about two hours from where I live.

I strive to produce heirloom-quality jewelry that's unique, sturdy, and fun to wear.
