Purplish Pink Sapphire Cocktail Ring

Say "sapphire" and most people picture blue but the same mineral, corundum, can form in purplish pink too, coloured by trace elements and far rarer to find.

From heirloom to heirloom ✨

This jadeite cabochon has been treasured in the family for generations and rather than let it sit in a drawer, our client brought it in for new life. We carefully removed the stone from its original vintage setting and reset it into a contemporary white gold design, wrapped in a swirl of round brilliant and baguette diamonds.

Upcycling a piece like this means honoring its history while making it wearable again. A ring that moves easily from day to evening, ready to be worn (not just kept).

The jade stays the same stone it's always been. But now it starts a new story, one that will hopefully be passed down for generations to come. 💚
