🧪 LABORATORY REPORT: THE SQUAKY EXPERIMENT 🍪🥛

Post-holiday travel required some serious snack preparation. 😂 So I entered the kitchen and formulated these cute little Squaky balls for the journey back.

Experimental formulation:
• 1 cup corn flour
• 1½ cups all-purpose flour
• margarine
• Condensed milk — used to bring the mixture together

I formed the mixture into small, cute balls and subjected them to controlled oven treatment. 🥰

After baking, the specimens received a white chocolate coating followed by a generous powdered milk finish.

Final observation: Cute ✔️
Crunchy ✔️
Milky ✔️
Travel-friendly ✔️
Research team approved ✔️😂

And just like that, the post-holiday journey had its own little snack supply. 🧪🍪❤️

From grapes to fruits… 🍇🍊🍉❤️

My last video reminded me of how I started cooking as a child—when my mum asked if I could cook, and I confidently said YES… meanwhile, I barely knew what I was doing. 😂😭

I promised to tell you the full story, so here it is! From my childhood cooking confidence to the semovita disaster that followed. 😂

And this one is for my dad. ❤️

These grapes from verdure House’s garden reminded me of something 😂🍇

I was watching Chef Amos talk about how she started cooking back in primary school, and it took me straight back to when I started mine.

My mum once asked me, “Can you cook tuwo?”
Me: “Yes, I can.” 😭😂

Meanwhile… I couldn’t even properly make the tuwo! I only knew bits and pieces because most times my mum made it, I was in Islamiyya.

Let me not even start the story of the day, I tried making the tuwo (semovita) and got the most questionable advice from an elder woman. 😂😭

The tuwo that came out that day deserves its own episode!

🥛🍰 MELT CAKE WITH MILK GLAZE

A soft, milky cake finished with a simple condensed milk + powdered milk glaze. 🤤

Ingredients
• 3 eggs
• ½ cup milk
• ⅓ cup oil
• ⅓ cup condensed milk
• 1 tsp baking powder
• A pinch of salt
• 1 cup flour

For the glaze
• Condensed milk
• Powdered milk

Mix, bake, glaze and enjoy! 😋

🧪 Laboratory report: Cake experiment = SUCCESSFUL ✅
Missing tablespoons = STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION. 😂😭

I’m still trying to understand how two perfectly innocent tablespoons disappeared in less than a week. At this point, I suspect they were accidentally disposed of with some leftover food. Because surely… a spoon has no legs! 😭😂

By the way, vendor dinda take siyar da herbs dinnan da planters, ni dai a sanina she is one of the vendors with the best price deal, customers dinta kuwa from different part of this country suke, Lagos, kano, kaduna, sokoto, porthacort etc. so imagine how affordable her plants are….

But sha, me na sani akan plants nikam.. 😁🤣

Today, I recreated her simple chicken pepper soup recipe with one tiny experimental modification: carrots. 🥕🧪
