Formed in 1927, The American Women's Club of Amsterdam is a vibrant and diverse group of over 300 women, ranging from newcomers to long-time residents of Holland, including areas like Amsterdam, Haarlem, 't Gooi, and beyond. The AWCA is a member of FAWCO, the Federation of American Women’s Clubs Overseas. FAWCO is a worldwide, non-partisan organization that strives to bring together more than 17,000 women in 35 countries (including FAWCO Alumni USA) to inform them on matters of common interest and to work out their particular challenges of living abroad.
