The brief was modern, unique but minimal, and made for every day wear. Incorporating our client’s heirloom garnet, the final design is nice and low profile, with a reverse tapered 1/2 round band and art deco collar detail

Fun fact about this ring: the original design reference imagined the centre stone as the Earth, with the accent stone orbiting it like the Moon. To carry the concept through, the accent stone was designed to be 27.2% of the centre stone’s diameter - the same proportion as the Moon is to Earth 🌑 we also designed the orbiting shank with an inward taper toward the stone, to give the ring a a more organic and flowing look
