🖤💛💙**ORCA SHORT COURSE 2026**

We saw some great racing at the weekend - the first of many local meets for this term. Thanks to Orca Swimming Club, Invercargill for putting on a great meet and providing the pre-race entertainment 🫍

Congratulations to both of our relay teams for coming home in first place🥇 Our 12&U relay team of Aoife, Avery, Scarlett & Ted fought off some tough competition from South Otago Sharks to take the win, with Bodie, Lachie, Xandri & Maddox also finishing ahead of SOS in the 13&O relay.

Big congratulations to Eilidh who broke the 12-13y Female 50Fly Southland Record 🤩

💛💙🖤 **2026 NEW ZEALAND SHORT COURSE CHAMPS**

It has been a busy week up in Christchurch for our team of Waverley swimmers and they should all be proud of what they have achieved. All four of our swimmers achieved top 10 placings in their agegroups, which is an incredible result!

A big thanks to Madi for coaching the team and to Amy for managing the group over the past week 🤩
