Design, manufacture and sale of unique hand made jewellery using silver, gold, semi-precious and precious stones based in Nelson, New Zealand.

Website: www.miekevandamjewellery.co.nz Mieke van Dam trained as a silversmith in London in the 1990's before returning to New Zealand to set up her own jewellery business in Nelson in 2007. Mieke creates unique hand-made pieces of jewellery that are contemporary, stylish and wearable - she strives for balance in her work, rather than simple symmetry, and seeks to create pieces which are elegant,

without being overly complex. Much of her work is commission based although she does sell new designs direct to the public via her website, and via a select group of galleries in New Zealand. Her husband Andy is responsible for sourcing the exquisite gems that are a hallmark of Mieke's jewellery, using a trusted network of dealers from around the world. Feast your eyes on this gorgeous 13ct aquamarine - surrounded by a garden of diamonds, tsavorites and yet more aquamarines, all set in white gold. The aquamarine has a green undertone, characteristic of unheated stones (commission).........
