Some of my favourite memories have been made travelling through Italy and visiting the incredible artisans behind the jewellery we bring to Orsini.

Iā€™ve lost count of the number of visits Iā€™ve made over the years, but each trip offers a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship, heritage, and passion that goes into every piece.

These moments were captured during visits to one of our most loved Italian brands, Marco Bicego, based in the renowned jewellery-making region of Vicenza. From touring their headquarters to visiting their beautiful boutique in Milan, itā€™s always inspiring to see firsthand the artistry behind the collections we proudly share with our clients.

Looking back on previous trips to Italy, some of my favourite memories are visiting our jewellery partners. Beyond the beautiful gemstones and exquisite jewellery, itā€™s the warmth, passion, and hospitality of the people I meet that make every trip so special. This video was taken in the beautiful Pomellato boutique in Sardinia with one of their wonderful team members. She did so well considering English is not her first language.

Every time I visit I learn so much about the beauty and the uniqueness of the jewellery I supply to my clients in NZ. Sardinia is truly one of Italyā€™s most stunning islands, and experiences like these remind me why I love returning year after year. šŸ‡®šŸ‡¹āœØšŸ’Ž

I was delighted to read in the latest edition of Capritude Magazine about the remarkable achievement of Chantecler Capriā€™s Nautilus Necklace, which was awarded First Place in the Best in Haute Couture category at the prestigious 2025 Couture Design Awards in Las Vegas.

June is recognised as the month of the pearl, making it the perfect time to celebrate this extraordinary creation. Inspired by the beauty of the Tyrrhenian Sea, the necklace features fourteen hand-carved iridescent nautilus shells emerging from vibrant titanium branches, complemented by luminous pearls.

The judges praised not only its breathtaking design but also the exceptional engineering and technical mastery required to bring the piece to life. The Nautilus Necklace forms part of a wider collection inspired by the Mediterranean and Chanteclerā€™s home island of Capri, reflecting the creativity, craftsmanship, and spirit that make the brand so distinctive.
