well the results make interesting reading
more people voted for red,white and blue than any other flag and it was leading the vote count until the 2nd lot of votes were counted from the black and white fern ... which as they like a black and white fern they picked the blue and black as their alternative
by a 2+ to 1 margin ... putting black and blue in the lead and the votes from Redpeak added to this
So the majority really like red, white and blue ...37.6% but we are stuck with the black and blue monster 36.2% but as only 48.16 of the total electorate voted that means we have to vote on a design that only 17.4% of the people voted for .... I think I will be putting an X by both in the next vote ... to say I want a new flag but not this one !
