I'm going to teach workshops!
I know I've said this A LOT in the past but this time it's actually happening (help)!

Each month we’ll gather for a cosy, relaxed session at the newtown community centre where we'll do some crafts — embroidery, polymer clay, felt, beads... Every workshop will feature a simple, fun project designed so that anyone can join in.

These workshops are all about slowing down, playing with materials, learning something new, and enjoying a lovely creative moment together.
Come along, try something new, and leave with a handmade piece and maybe a new favourite hobby. I can’t wait to craft with you! ✂️💛

That time I saw a plush sardine on Pinterest and decided I needed to make one 🐟
I sketched the different parts to draw a pattern, assembled everything, forgot to fill the fins and voilà!

🪿It feels so good to be making new little things! I honestly cannot remember when was the last time I played with polymer clay! Because I used to make so much all the time and then the cost of living crisis started and my sales plummeted, I felt like I had to stop making until I had made a bit of space for new things. And that time has finally come!
I've played with new techniques and got lost in the flow of creativity, oh how I missed it!

🪿 I'll be at the Brooklyn community centre for a little market on Saturday from 12 to 4pm, I believe there will also be yummy food and hopefully some sun so come say hi 👋🏻

without further ado, here is our first workshop: embroidery 🧵✨

A cozy 2.5 hour beginner-friendly workshop for adults who want to slow down and get creative together.
I’ll guide you through the basic stitches you need to get started with hand embroidery. We’ll begin by practicing on small fabric squares so you can build confidence and get comfortable with your needle and thread. Then, I’ll help you embroider a phrase or simple pattern of your choice onto a piece of clothing you’ve brought along — turning it into something beautifully personal and unique.

You’ll head home with an embroidery hoop, needle, threads, your practice fabric square + a blank square for your next project, and a printed stitch guide so you can keep creating!

There will be some soft drinks & snacks :-)
No experience needed — just bring something you’d love to transform.

🪻earrings of the week🪻

Look at me trying to post on socials and all!
These cuties are the dangly jellyfish from the Pansy Wonderland collection and they are available on my website! They're one of a kind so you won't run into anyone else wearing the same pair of earrings!

🧵 punch cards 2026 🧘🏻‍♀️

So tiktok got me and after seeing 532 videos about making punch cards with goals for the year, it was time to make my own!

I got my cute papers out (thank you warehouse stationary clearance sales!) cut rectangles the size of a business card and used my little purple cutter to make round edges. Then I went in with the watercolour to make the background bits, waited to make sure it was dry before writing/drawing on top. For the drawings, I went on Pinterest for doodle inspiration.
As you can see, I haven't worked out all my rewards (mostly because succeeding would be reward enough 😅).
Also don't be like me, make sure your cards are the right way around before punching the hole to hold them together!

And voilà, just gotta do the things to punch some holes and earn some rewards!

And we're back! Happy new year, lovelies!
My holiday was fantastic (but oh so cold!) and recharged all the batteries, I'm so ready and excited for a new year of jules+ the wildflowers🪻

I have heaps of ideas and hope I will manage to show you most of them!
First, I've decided to be a bit more casual in what I'm sharing on this account and show you my craft experiments ☺️

Second, there are workshops and craft meetups in the making, I'm hoping to share more very soon (I'm already behind schedule, of course 😬)
