A little new addition to The Timber Drop.

Alongside earrings, I’ve started creating small brooches made from reclaimed timber offcuts — each one cut, painted, layered, and pieced together by hand. Some are inspired by native flora and fauna, others by colour, shape, and texture found in everyday scraps.

What began as salvaged floorboards and discarded materials keeps finding new forms.

Kawakawa in the making.

Reclaimed rimu floorboards, cut, sanded, and slowly brought to life. Each piece carries its own grain and story - no two ever the same.

A few more steps to go before these are ready for the night market on Friday.

Simple lines, natural contrast.
These earrings are made from reclaimed timber, letting the grain and imperfections do the talking. Minimal in form, earthy in feel, and lightweight enough for everyday wear.

I’m sharing a stall with Sarah and her beautiful indoor plants — the perfect pairing of handmade jewellery and living greenery.

I’ll have a full range of earrings made from reclaimed timber, leather, and copper, all handcrafted here in Whanganui. Slow-made pieces, each one a little different, just how I like it.
