Some jewellery spends more time inside a jewellery box than on the person who owns it.

I’ve never wanted to design pieces like that.

When I’m developing a collection, I ask myself a different question:
Will this still be the bracelet I instinctively reach for on an ordinary Tuesday morning?

Because that’s when jewellery earns its place.

Not at weddings.

Not only at celebrations.

But while answering emails, catching flights, meeting friends for coffee, celebrating little wins, or simply going about life.

The pieces we wear most often quietly become part of our story.

And perhaps that’s what timeless design really means.

The Nova Tennis Bracelet was created with exactly that thought in mind.

Elegant enough for special occasions.

Comfortable enough that you’ll forget you’re wearing it.

Until someone notices.

Where do ideas come from?

Sometimes, they’re found in gemstones.

Sometimes, in conversations.

And sometimes, inside the pages of a beautifully illustrated book.

One of the things I enjoy most is studying how jewellery has evolved through different eras. Every period reflects its time, its art, its culture, its values, even its challenges.

As a designer, I don’t look at history to recreate it.

I look at it to better understand timelessness.

Because the most enduring designs are often the ones that carry a little of the past while still feeling completely at home today.

This beautiful book was a thoughtful gift from my dear friend, Faiza Yousuf and it has quickly become one of the most treasured additions to my collection. Every time I turn its pages, I’m reminded that inspiration often comes from the generosity of people who know you well.

Conversations with Sukaina | Volume 1

I’ve noticed that when you run a business, people often ask how the business is doing before they ask how you are.

And I understand why.

Businesses have become a way of measuring certainty in uncertain times.

So the question usually comes from a place of care.

“How’s work?”

“How’s business?”

The truth is, those questions are never just about numbers.

Behind every small business is someone quietly carrying decisions, responsibilities, hopes, disappointments and the privilege of creating something they deeply believe in.

There are seasons when business feels exciting.

There are seasons when it feels uncertain.

And there are seasons when life outside work quietly demands more of you than anyone can see.

Yet somehow, you still show up.

Not because every day feels easy.

But because you’ve chosen to build something that matters to you.

I’ve realised that Enchanté has grown in exactly the same way.

Not through perfect days.

But through consistency.

Through choosing to create, even when life feels less than perfect.

Perhaps that’s why I still write these captions myself.

I still rethink them.

Sometimes I rewrite them three times before they feel honest enough to share.

It would certainly be quicker to let someone or something else do it.

But authenticity has never been the fastest route.

It’s simply the one that feels most like me.

And I hope that, in some small way, it feels like Enchanté too.

Some designs are not just about shape or craftsmanship.

They are about mood.

The same silhouette can feel completely different depending on the colour, the light and the woman wearing it.

Ruby brings a softer, more romantic energy.
Emerald feels richer, deeper and more quietly regal.

That is what I love about pieces like this, they do not ask you to choose between beauty and versatility. They offer both.

I do not design for trends.

Trends change quickly. Personal style usually does not.

When I begin a new piece, I ask myself a different question altogether:

Will I still want to wear this five years from now?
And just as importantly, will I actually enjoy wearing it?

Because jewellery should never be something that only looks beautiful in photographs. It should feel beautiful in real life too.

Comfort matters. Repeat wear matters. Timelessness matters.

The best designs are the ones you reach for again and again without even thinking about it.

That, for me, is what makes a piece worth creating.
