People often ask me which piece of jewellery I wear the most.
Surprisingly, it isn’t my newest design, nor is it the most elaborate piece in my collection.
It’s this pendant.
Years ago, a dear friend approached me with a request to create a wearable version of a cherished protection amulet. Fitting the verses into a design that felt elegant, meaningful, and suitable for everyday wear took several attempts before we finally got it right.
Once her piece was complete, I knew I wanted one for myself.
Since then, it has accompanied me almost everywhere.
To exhibitions.
Speaking engagements.
Family weddings.
Coffee meetings.
Ordinary days.
Over time, it has become more than jewellery.
It is a quiet source of comfort, a reminder to pause, and something I instinctively reach for whenever I leave home.
Perhaps that is why some pieces become favourites.
Not because they are the most valuable.
But because of how they make us feel.
