Two new casting using the furnace from ToAuto (https://www.toautotool.com/). This time I went as high as to 1100 Celsius, and I got a good result 😃

Probably the best MSC casting of a ring I have done so far. The 'beard' between the segments is as good as invisible. Much thanks to the furnace from, ToAuto (https://www.toautotool.com/) where you conviently can preset the temperature when to pour the melt into the ingot of the mold. I chose 1060 Celsius, and I had some time to pour before the silver solidifies.

Denna gång visas hur man kan göra en gjutform av en ring med dekorationer längs utsidan.
Nu är det möjligt att förbeställa MSC kit från en förbättrad version (2.0) som beräknas komma i månadsskiftet oktober- november. Även enskilda flaskset och ett uppgraderingskit finns att förbeställa!

Yet another animation using the CAD program Fusion360.
This animation shows how you can make a mold of a ring with decorations along the outside.

It is now possible to pre-order MSC kits from an improved version (2.0) which is expected to arrive at the turn of the month October-November. Individual bottle sets and an upgrade kit are also available to pre-order!

Now the new generation of MSC kits is on it's the way (MSC 2.0)!

The usefulness of the MSC method is starting to spread in Sweden and also in other countries.

With MSC you can sand cast many models that do not work with traditional 'cope-drag' casting, e.g. rings with patterns along the entire outside, heel rings with patterns on the heel and along the outside of the ring, twisted models, etc.
