Checking out the construction of this 18K yellow gold ring before we proceed to set the gemstone in place.

We need to correct or redo any potential issues at this stage so that the pressures from stone setting don’t cause permanent damage to the mounting.

This is the level of attention your item gets when you make them with us.

This is why we rarely provide discounts. We can try to work within your budget, but that is different from asking for more gold, more diamonds, fast turnaround all at lower cost. Or follow us for our very random sales.

This was something I wanted to do to revise all the hand forming technique at the start of the year…

Completed it and chucked it away until a recent tidying of stuff.

Took it out of its ziplock and it still looks pristine!

Finally putting it out for sale. DM if you are interested! The length is about 3cm long.

This dear customer had a few diamond jewellery handed down from within the family. The gold is gold, the diamonds are natural, but the designs are dated or lack a touch of personality.

So we got down to work to design something that can incorporate most of her diamonds, had a few iterations with her inputs and style, and the trust that we will do our best to create something presentable.

Finally, the ring is completed!

Was in the midst of redesigning this Type A Burmese jadeite pendant to retain only the vibrant green parts when a customer suddenly took a liking to this.

And wanted it as it is.

So now it is sold, and the hunt begins for the next item in our workshop to be refurbished.

Making each day less boring by giving ourselves additional work 😂

So many of you who came to our studio asked why is there red “voodoo” wax. Here is an example of its application: it can magically hold the items in place without its shape warping while we set the gemstones in!

No magic, just a lot of hard work, some pain, maximum attentiveness.

The joy it brings to a bench jeweller… iykyk… 🥳

One of the earliest lesson I had was from Alan Revere, where he would rather take time to get it right as a bench jeweller or not do it at all.

It seems like a simple logic that is easy to understand. But in the face of monthly bills, competition from the mass produced, shorter attention span of clients, we also have to contend for a new sweet spot of cost, quality and speed.

How can we eternalise a part of our doggos?

Recently, we had the honour to do just that - preserving the unique fingerprinting of a beloved dog. And it also looks like a dog’s nose boops on us when it is still around and active!

Featuring the process of turning a clay-like imprint into fine silver pendant for keepsake and wearing. Complete with custom laser engraving on the back side of the pendant.

We hope this brings solace to the pawrents out there!

One of the most important steps in our hand making process is the inspection of the build as we put the parts together, and certainly before setting the stones.

The number of hours looking, checking, refining allows the metal to harden at the same time.
