Finally completed this piece, and she’ll be heading to her forever home this week.

Meet Pinky — a warrior princess and dedicated huntress. 🔥🏹👑😼

When I first heard her story, we knew that if she was to resemble a greek god it would be Artemis, the Goddess of the Hunt. From the golden crown to the bow, every element was designed to embody her strength, grace, and instinct.

Even the arrows tell a story in a quirky twist capturing all the prey she would catch in her home from praying mantis to lizards. (If you look closely you may even spot her battle scar on her ear!)

I had so much fun bringing this vision to life. Thank you for trusting me to honour Pinky and carry her spirit into your home.

"How can art fit into your home instead of the other way around?"

That has always been something I am interested to explore ever since I wanted to go down the route of making paintings. You feel like you need a certain aesthetic to own a certain painting etc but what if it's the other way around?

The idea of the censor bar is part of a larger concept of how art can be functional and adaptive to your living environment, making it a seamless transition from gallery to home without much redecoration.

Thank you everyone for dropping by ARTBOX SINGAPORE with fomoartweekend it was my first time here (both as a vendor and customer) and met lots of new people who adore the Fat Fish bag and the Round Fish pouch 🐟🐟🐟

I really enjoyed my time here despite the long hours, horrible out-of-tune karaoke singing and the cooking/ food stalls smoke literally drying out my eyeballs.

Please continue to support me on my Bleak journey to making more nonsensical items!
