Sunny day today and just showing how I replicated another Evernight from my own master copy!

Tightened and refined the design of this second Evernight hairclip piece, and tidied up some of the more minute detailing.

So after this piece, the stock for the vintage wavy red embroidered ribbon is finally finished! I think I'll find a way to use up that little bit you see in the photo.

Will be replacing with another type of ribbon/lace for that layer for the next Evernight piece!

For commissions, we're currently setting designs for all the customized ribbons and for the incoming shipment of parts and components, I ordered alot more blues, greens and orange shades since I normally don't stock these colours and it happens that the next few projects require these colours.

Makes me wonder what is the Pantone Colour of the Year for 2026!

Trying out some new beads this time round, so I'm excited!

Watched TWST anime when I was in Tokyo and just caught up on Eps 2 back here. It's been some time since I made anything from my fave Kurosh*tsuji series, will revisit it soon ♡♡♡

Finally went to The Apothecary Diaries collab cafe at Dimension Poptown ♡♡♡

Hubs got into the series first via manga, while I thru the anime. If you ask me who I like the most, it's definitely Mao Mao! 🥰

Coz we went there after work, so we decided to just order from the drinks and desserts menu.

Mao Mao's matcha pomegranate drink is definitely made to counter the sweetness of Jinshi's pudding dessert. 😂🤣😅

The staff and service were not bad and she was very nice to tell us that we can combine receipts (for both the food and merchandise) to increase our chances at getting the freebies, since most of the freebies on the menu were redeemed when we were there.

They are really very generous with the freebies and the can badge set was a guaranteed, where you get all 7 designs in one box.

For freebies, we got both postcards of Mao Mao and Jinshi in the exact pose of the standees at our table. ✌️

And a very shiny (like the man himself HA!) acrylic of Jinshi. ✨️

I simply love the glittery can badges and the chibis are SO ADORBS OMG!!! ❤️

Can't resist to pose them with my Mao Mao and Jinshi bracelets! Hubs was like where's the bracelets for the 4 consorts??? 😅

Wait lah, I didn't have time to make them before our Tokyo trip so will defo work on them after I clear current orders and when the new materials for my commissions come in next week! 😆👍

While working on stuffs this week, we also took the time to catch up on local collabs which we didn't have time to go to before we took off for Tokyo.

The 1st phase of the HSR collab has ended, so it's quite a pity coz we were looking forward to gacha for Churin.

But we decided to order one of the collab platters and got a very pretty and sparkly card of Sparkle!

Just back from Tokyo on the weekend and here's a little PSA!

It's been a very long while since I went back to basics coz I had been researching into new techniques and all. If I was at Herta's space station, I would prolly be one of those nondescript researchers quietly researching in a remote lab (I'm actually THAT introverted, the "you don't disturb me, I don't disturb you" type lol!).

So this is one of those times I stepped back and take a breather. The flower formation on Jinshi's and Mao Mao's piece is actually a formation I learnt back in 2021, when I made a bracelet in the image of my OC in "The Sakura Demon's Tale" - a short, sappy, lame ass chuunibyou as heck revenge story I once wrote to make peace with part of my past (let's just say I did alot of funny embarrassing sh*ts when I was alot younger).

Would have loved to teach my students then this formation but didn't coz I wasn't very confident and proficient with it. And it being so miniscule would have been hell for the eyesight of my older students.

The bracelet had long gone to her new owner but I gave a new look to the bracelet formation I used for Jinshi's and Mao Mao's bracelets - by combining the flower formation with the basic square and vine patterns I learnt and practiced in recent years.

Will be working more on them as I slowly clear The Apothecary Diaries S2 ♡♡♡

We've also been watching one of those recent C-dramas on cooking and romance after clearing Netflix's newest K-drama - "The Tyrant's Chef". "宴遇永安" is an on-going C-drama on the female lead and her fam being transported back in time and their fan's ancestor fell in love with the female lead. Currently, there's enough comedic elements to offset the sappy moments and it's up to Eps 27 for now. I hope it stays good because even for "The Tyrant's Chef", it started off well with good pacing but ended up with a shoddy ending (whose last eps high rating left us scratching our heads in puzzlement).

‘’三生三变，荒龙腾空。‘’ 🐉

DHPT has more of his current new elements as compared to DH and DHIL, notably his gold horns, dragon eye and tail.

And also, the nature and rebirth elements from his current idle animation.

But elements from his past 'reincarnations" are still hidden in this piece, the silver maple leaves peeking out from the background and the "moon" on the left half hidden from view.

He's actually quite a tough piece to make coz of his many layers of expression lol.

And his prominent obsidian and gold colours reminds me very strongly of Zhongli's Earth and Stone tones.

Not to mention, he's a dragon too.

DHPT hairclip measures 14cmX18cm (LengthXWidth) and is going for 𝗦𝗚𝗗𝟱𝟬 each! Limited quantities coz vintage materials (once finished, they won't be available anymore) are used!

Currently trying to finish The Apothecary Diaries S2 and also will prolly attempt a Scarlet piece (from "Can I Ask For One Last Thing?") for fun ♡♡♡

And I finished the "Try Not To Laugh" challenge too! Think the trick is to just use all their recommended characters and you'll at least clear with an S rank for each stage? 🤔

This girl very nearly used up whatever red, black and white fancy laces and satin rosettes I had in my vintage lace and rosettes stash! 🤣😅

Finally completed both Caelus and Stelle in their Remembrance image!

When I first accepted this commission, it was a challenge to me as there are only slight differences in the official Remembrance images of both Stelle and Caelus.

Aside from distinguishing them with different colours of the Remembrance path crest - Pink for Stelle and Blue for Caelus, I gave Stelle's character image hairclip a more feminine look by using softer materials like satin rosettes, more blings and materials with rounded finishings like the glass hearts and frosted blue and pink gradient beads.

For Caelus, he has a heavier steampunk look with sharper edges. More gears are used on his character image hairclip and his tassle is made of metal chains, unlike Stelle's blue yellow gradient cloth tassle.

The beaded components on both their pieces set them apart as well, as Stelle's treatment is more glitter, glass and sheen, whereas Caelus is more solid colours and metallic.

That's currently all for the commission done as an exception for this month! Commissions will remain close and will reopen in Nov!

Just a heads up, my commission schedule is currently booked for 2026 as well, so if you're interested, do drop me your requests once commissions reopens in Nov!

Current taking the time off catch up on anime and gaming! Just finished Fermat's Cuisine and enjoyed it as it's about a mathematician student turned chef!

Will be going back to work on Evernight and DHPT as well, since I was very fortunate to bring Evernight home just a day before her banner concluded!

Working on Caelus and Stelle since Hubs printed their customized ribbons! Thanks Da! 😘

2nd time customizing ribbons for HSR commish after my recent Churin hat~ 💚

While Hubs and I discussed to give different colours to Caelus and Stelle for their Remembrance character images, I decided to give a more metallic treatment to Caelus's centrepiece, so to tell him apart from Stelle.

Men's jewelry and accessories tend to have more metallic, matte and single colour finishings, whereas for Stelle, hers have more colours (including the aqua blue of her thigh band) and brighter in comparison to make it look more interesting to the eye, more sparkly and less metallic with softer colours, though I kept the platinum silver and metallic black uniform for both snowflake centrepieces.
