From city tours, apartment finds to food adventures and tech events, get inspired to live your Life Out of the Box. Life Out of the Box (LOOTB) is a social venture that works with local artisans around the world to create unique handmade products that help support education in third world countries. For every LOOTB item that we sell, we give school supplies to a child in a developing country. The unique aspect of the business is that we actually show our supporters the effect they have by emailing the them a video of use distributing the school supplies or meals to the project they actually helped through their purchase. As we travel around the world to various countries looking for new handmade products to develop with local artisans, we continue to work with various non-profit organizations to find out how we can further make the biggest difference in each community we work in. Overall, our journey has been quite the exciting adventure and we hope that you follow along with us in our pursuit of living Life Out of the Box. One of my favorite haircuts in a long time, and it happened in Da Nang. 💇‍♀️🇻🇳

Peter at Lee’s Salon is a pro, and watching him work is weirdly mesmerizing. Cut and shampoo came to about $8.

PRP at Foxy MD in Da Nang cost 3 million VND, about $115.

The blood draw was painless, and the needle looks scarier than it feels thanks to numbing cream.

I also liked that nothing foreign goes into your body, just your own plasma. Would you try it?

Quite literally in heaven getting a spa pedicure and manicure Reborn Nails & Retreat in Da Nang.

It’s a locally owned spot with lots of nail options, and the combo is about 500,000 VND, around $19. Honestly, the BEST nail salon experience I’ve ever had anywhere.

We tried 4 completely different coffees in our Da Nang neighborhood, and we could not agree on a favorite. ☕

🥥 Coconut Coffee at Goc Nho, 30k: blended like a frappe with a coconut ice cream center, and free pandan tea on arrival.

🥜 Peanut Butter Coffee SOLEIL_CAFE : creamy and subtle, like blended peanut brittle, at a quiet spot you can work from.

🍵 Mango Matcha at A Station: fresh mango, oat milk, and matcha, at the prettiest cafe on our street.

☕ Cafe Den at Co Ti, 10k: iced black coffee mixed light and airy, plus fresh sugarcane juice, on tiny sidewalk chairs.

Quinn’s #1 was the coconut coffee, her favorite in the world. Jon’s #1 was the 10k street cup for the pure local experience.

Massage: 5 stars. 🌟
Chua Spa stretched me out in ways I didn’t know my body could stretch.

My advice is to skip the one hour option and do the full two hours with the steam room, sauna and cold plunge.

A full skin analysis with the dermatologist Foxy M.D Clinic one of the highest rated clinics in Da Nang.

His recommendation was PRP, which uses your own plasma to help rejuvenate skin and boost collagen.

It cost about $115.

“The most amazing two hours of my life.”

That was my review walking out of a two hour aroma massage Chua Spa for about $21.

The aroma massage was perfect. I was sore in places I didn’t know I was sore.
