Welcome to Osaka 🏮

I almost skipped Osaka. Biggest mistake I would’ve made this year.

Everyone said go straight to Kyoto, go straight to Tokyo. But Osaka pulled me in within the first hour- the neon reflecting off the canals, the smell of takoyaki drifting through Dotonbori, strangers who felt like old friends before dinner was even over.

This city doesn’t perform for you. It just lets you in.

POV: “One day I’ll go to Thailand and see the elephants.” 🐘🇹🇭

And then one day… you actually do it. 🥹

But if you’re planning to visit elephants in Thailand, please don’t just book the first sanctuary that calls itself “ethical.” There are only a handful that truly prioritise the elephants’ welfare and I made sure to visit one of them.

No riding. No performances. No forced interactions. Just a rescue elephant hanging out in the jungle 🤍
