A little update 👋

We’re taking a break from social media.. but Jai Yen isn’t going anywhere.

We’re still open and selling from our stores in Thailand, online at jaiyen.store, and at Artisan Markets around North Wales.

The truth is, I’ve been forcing myself to keep up with social media for a long time because I didn’t want our page to look inactive.

But running a business, raising kids and trying to keep up with an ever-changing algorithm is A LOT.

And the past couple of weeks, I stopped.

No pressure to post. No thinking about content. No trying to film behind-the-scenes while getting the baby to sleep.

And do you know what?

It’s been f*cking bliss.

Instead, I’ve been creating again. Planning collections, sourcing materials, designing, finding new products.. basically doing almost all the things I actually love about running Jai Yen.

So this isn’t goodbye forever.

We’re working towards bringing someone onto the team to take care of the social media side of things, and until then, you’ll hear from me when I actually have something I want to share.

No forced content. No posting for the sake of posting.

Just Jai Yen, when it feels right.
