My beautiful and kind mother as she appeared in an issue of Homefront Magazine. This was a magazine created for those fighting World War II to keep them informed of what was going on at home in the Slate Belt Area. Addresses were given for each "Fairest of the Month" for the exchange of letters. I miss her every day. I am so very grateful to have had such a wonderful mother. Happy Mother's Day to Phyllis Lorraine Murphy Herd!❤❤❤

This is a wonderful tribute to a talented but generally unseen designer. Grandmothers deserve to be seen and acknowledged, as do all people. What a wonderful gift this young woman gave her grandmother. Get the tissues before you watch this!
