I am a woman entrepreneur who has been creating and running innovative retail and wholesale jewelry businesses for 41 years. My passion is designing jewelry with sterling silver, colorful pearls, exotic gems, and hand enameling. In 2004, my husband was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and I am his caregiver. My husband, David, has been living with Parkinson's disease for 26 years. He was diagnosed around 20 years ago, after specialists took 3 very long years to reach a diagnosis. He is my inspiration for my mission to support programs for people with Parkinson's and their family caregivers.

This is us with our incredible son, Michael, at our 28th anniversary wedding renewal! We will be married 46 years this year! I love my wonderful family!!! I am soooo lucky to have these two loves in my life!!!

Sterling silver is something I use in nearly every piece of jewelry I design! Its roots run back to ancient times. Hi, I'm Katherine, and I'm a proud "Pearl Girl" ✨I love everything there is to do with genuine pearls and exotic gemstones. My designs are inspired by the beauty of nature - always with a unique twist! Whether it's a pair of earrings or a multi-functional necklace, I believe when you wear jewelry you love, it lights up your life!

For over 43 years, I've been living and breathing the world of jewelry. I started my first business in Fairfax, Virginia, when my son was just six months old, selling beautiful 14K gold, diamonds, and pearls. I've done MANY things since then, I've transformed my passion into a creative journey—from designing custom sterling charms to my favorite creations, interchangeable necklaces and enhancers.

Recently, I've embraced two new passions: teaching Up-Design Your Jewelry classes, where I help others reimagine their jewelry, and supporting Caregivers by offering creative outlets, education, and support to find joy in their journey. I'm excited to share more of my story with you!!
