For the past nine years, Suzan followed her dream, opening A BEAD BOUTIQUE in Alexandria. A recent (and unexpected) change in her husband's job has opened the door for a move to Shreveport Bossier. The building at 2924 Jackson Street sold immediately. After Suzan's home sells, they will be moving. In the meantime, Suzan is offering classes in her home, scheduling "bead times" for those who had gro

wn so accustomed to beading at the tables of A BEAD BOUTIQUE, and Suzan is working to continue TRUNK SHOWS in the CenLa area (even after she moves)!

Road trip!!!

The AKS Bead & Jewelry Show in New Orleans is coming this January 6, 7, & 8, 2023 at the Pontchartrain Center in Kenner LA. Please come and support our shows in the New Orleans area and help us maintain great shows like we had this past summer. We are calling for an SOS (Save Our Shows) this January. Show hours are 10 till 6 Fri & Sat, 10 till 4 on Sunday. Parking is free and admission is still only $5 for the entire weekend. A great bargain for all the savings on your jewelry making needs.

TODAY!!! Our first BEAD Trunk Show since 2019 opens at 10am. Marge & Rob (from Beading House) are set up and ready for you!

We have DOOR PRIZES! We will also give away these five bottles of beads. Two bottles have 20 strands of pearls, one has all gemstones. Two bottles have glass beads and seed beads. We will draw for these during the day. You must be present to win.

I am so excited to be in a room filled with beautiful pearls, gemstones, wonderful Bali silver beads, chain, lots of pewter, and more! Hurry up 10am!

Our first BEAD Trunk Show is in two days! I am looking forward to being inspired by Marge’s beautiful fresh water pearls, gemstones, silver, chain, and more! Getting to see beading friends is the best part of this! Can’t wait to see everyone!

Trunk Show hours: May 25 & 26
Wednesday Open @ 10am, staying open late
Thursday Open 10am, closing at 4pm
