The countdown to the Nescatunga Arts Festival is ON, and the studio is officially overflowing with color! 🎨✨

I spent some time today replenishing one of my absolute favorite high-energy collections: our Festival Stackers! 🙋‍♀️

These polymer clay heishi bead bracelets are a personal favorite for summer. They are lightweight, super comfortable, and packed with bright, playful patterns—finished with just a touch of gold disc shine to keep them looking polished. Whether you love neons, bright rainbows, or edgy black-and-teal contrasts, you can mix and match to build a stack that is entirely you.

They will be fully stocked on our display boards next weekend at the festival right here in Alva. Come by the Wild Paint Jewelry booth, find your perfect color combo, and grab a few for yourself or a friend!

See you next weekend! 🧡

Introducing the 'Gloss Mountain Skies' Everyday Collection! 🌅💎

There’s something so satisfying about making sure every piece of material finds its purpose. While completing my latest statement cuff, I realized the color palette was just too beautiful to stop there!

I’m thrilled to debut these new coordinating pieces, perfectly curated for everyday elegance. This collection uses the high-quality genuine turquoise and vibrant spiny oyster rounds from my larger 'Gloss Mountain Skies' cuff to create versatile, lightweight designs.

The Everyday Necklace 📿
Length: 19-inch 'Princess' drape.
Design: A clean graduation of genuine turquoise ovals interspersed with bright spiny oyster rounds and petite teal glass spacers for a crisp look.
Finish: Secured with a gold lobster clasp and a 2-inch extender chain, so you get the perfect fit for any neckline.

The Stacker Bracelets 🧡💙
Design: Two versions of 4mm spiny oyster rounds. One version features sleek metallic silver spacers; the other uses faceted teal glass to mirror the turquoise palette.
Fit: Designed on durable stretch cord for easy wear.

These are the perfect lightweight alternatives to the cuff, or the ultimate coordinating accessory set! Both the necklace and the bracelets will be available next weekend at the Nescatunga Arts Festival in Alva. Stop by and find your perfect stack!

Introducing: Gloss Mountain Skies 🌌🌅

There is nothing quite like the rhythm of hitting those final stitches on a piece that challenged every bit of your engineering skills. I am so incredibly proud to finally show you the completed “Gloss Mountain Skies” statement cuff!

This piece centers around an absolute powerhouse of a stone: a massive, 75.5-carat Hubei turquoise cabochon featuring incredible sky-blue pockets and rich, golden matrix islands.

To give this stone the home it deserved, I spent hours building a highly structured, 8-inch double-core flat spiral band. The band splits into two woven arches on either side to frame the wrist with elegant negative space, and it is stitched directly into the rows of the seed bead bezel for a completely seamless, fluid drape.

The Details:
The Palette: Rich 6mm spiny oyster rounds, faceted teal glass, and a tight inner crescent of 4mm spiny oyster rounds tucked perfectly inside the split arches to mask the structural transitions.

The Quick Pivot: If you look closely, you’ll see an extra round of tiny 15/0 seed beads on the bezel. When the structural bands began to pull slightly on the stone's frame, a quick, late-stage adjustment pulled everything back into crisp, flawless alignment. It’s those hidden details that make a piece last a lifetime!

The Finish: Tapered down cleanly to a beautiful, secure antique silver toggle clasp.

This one-of-a-kind luxury cuff will be coming with me to the Nescatunga Arts Festival right here in Alva next weekend! Come see how that glass catches the light and try it on in person.

Thank you all for following along on this workbench journey today! Which view is your favorite—the full layout or seeing it modeled on the wrist? 👇✨

Evening Bench Update! 🌌🛠️

I couldn't wait until tomorrow to show you how "Gloss Mountain Skies" is coming together! One half of the structural band is officially complete.

Take a look at how that double-core flat spiral splits into two separate woven arches to meet the sides of the stone. I am stitching the band directly into the seed bead bezel rows for a totally seamless, ultra-secure fit.

The fiery orange and white stripes of the 6mm spiny oyster rounds are pulling out those warm, golden islands in the 75.5-carat Hubei turquoise so beautifully, and that faceted teal glass gives it just the right amount of sky-blue shimmer. 🌅💎

Now, it's time to mirror this exact architecture on the other side. Once the structural band is complete, I'll finish it off by wrapping the entire perimeter of the bezel in smaller 4mm spiny oyster rounds to clean up the transitions.

Flipping the grid tonight to get side number two done—stay tuned! ✨

🌌 From Prairie Nights to Gloss Mountain Skies! 🏞️✨

While the Prairie Nights set (with those dreamy opals and labradorite!) is officially locked and ready for the Nescatunga Arts Festival next weekend, my bench isn't staying quiet for long! 🛠️

I am so excited to give you a behind-the-scenes look at the next statement piece I'm diving into this morning: a wide, intricate bracelet I've named "Gloss Mountain Skies."

My goal for this piece is to capture the exact feeling of looking up at the wide-open Oklahoma sky over the distinct red mesas of the Gloss Mountains.

Here is the ingredient list for this desert-inspired beauty:
💎 The Star: A spectacular, 75.5-carat Hubei turquoise cabochon with a warm, golden-brown matrix that looks like a miniature geological map.
🐚 The Contrast: Vibrant, natural Spiny Oyster Shell round beads to bring the heat of the red earth.
✨ The Structure: Faceted teal glass beads and my signature antique silver seed beads for that rugged, finished texture.

I'm getting to work right now, starting by bezeling that massive turquoise focal to lock it into place before I engineer the double flat spiral band.

Follow along this week to watch this palette transform from a layout on the board into a finished piece of wearable art! Which component are you most excited to see woven in? Tell me below! 👇

🚨 EXCLUSIVE FESTIVAL PREVIEW: Prairie Nights 🌌✨

Alva, get ready! Next weekend is the 55th Annual Nescatunga Arts Festival, and I am bringing something truly extraordinary to the Wild Paint Jewelry booth at the Alva Recreation Center!

Meet Prairie Nights—a completely one-of-a-kind, modular luxury jewelry system that I have been pouring my heart and soul into at the bench.

This isn't just a necklace; it’s an heirloom experience engineered to be worn three different ways:

The Statement Grandeur: A sweeping, fluid bib framing an electric blue Labradorite with a fiery nebula flash, flanked by Lapis Lazuli wings and deep blue Goldstone.

The Standalone Shimmer: A sleek, separate choker woven with matching stones and finished with delicate, 3-tiered liquid silver lace arches (using micro 15/0 seed beads) that drop into genuine, dancing Ethiopian Opals.

The Layered Drama: Thanks to a hidden clasp system, the choker hooks directly into the main necklace's back hardware, creating a high-fashion, multi-tiered royal look.

Pictures don't even do justice to the fire in these opals and the flash in this labradorite—you truly have to see how they catch the light in person.

There is only one of these sets in existence. It will be waiting for its perfect collector when the doors open:
⏰ Friday, June 5th: 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
⏰ Saturday, June 6th: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
📍 Alva Recreation Center

🌌 Behind the Bench: The Evolution of Prairie Nights 🌌

You guys... I thought I was finished with the "Prairie Nights" statement necklace. The symmetry was locked in, the drape was perfect, and she was sitting pretty on the bust.
But the creative spark hit me this afternoon, and I decided to take this piece to an entirely new level.

I’m officially diving back in to create a matching, detachable choker strand! 🛠️✨

By engineering a hidden lobster clasp system that hooks directly into the back hardware, this beauty is transforming into a modular, multi-functional art experience. A collector will be able to wear it three ways:

1. The Full Grandeur: The sweeping statement bib.
2. The Layered Drama: Clipping the choker in for a tiered, high-fashion look.
3. The Everyday Luxury: Unclipping the choker to wear on its own with its chain expander.

Right now, I'm using my tiniest 15/0 seed beads to weave delicate, 3-tiered scalloped drapes under each gemstone station on the choker. It looks like miniature, shimmering ripples of antique silver against the skin.
Back to the bead board to finish up these delicate rows! Let me know what you think of the upgrade! 👇

Behind the Bench: One half of the chain is officially complete! 🌌✨

Taking a quick dinner break before diving into the second side of Prairie Nights. 🌾💫

This piece has truly taken on a life of its own on the bead board. Watching the deep, royal lapis, glowing moon-like opalite, moody silver obsidian, and the starry depths of blue goldstone weave together into a continuous strand has been so satisfying. It really feels like capturing a piece of a vast, unpolluted midnight sky right here over the plains.

For the closure, I settled on a gorgeous textured toggle ring with tiny metal beads that perfectly mirrors all those hand-stitched antique silver seed bead borders, making the transition flawless all the way around the neckline.

I can’t wait to get back to the workbench and bring the other half of this galaxy together tonight!

What do you think of how the beaded chain is framing the focal bib? 👇 Let me know in the comments!

✨ Sneak Peek Time! ✨

I’ve been working on something incredibly special at the bench, and I just couldn’t wait to share a glimpse of the progress.

Say hello to the focal piece of my next big statement necklace: a spectacular labradorite cabochon with a blue flash so bright it looks like it's plugged into an outlet! ⚡️💙

For this piece, I’m diving into freeform bead weaving to bring the flowing, organic lines of my sketchbook to life. Every single stitch is done by hand, framing the main stone in clean antique silver before swirling out into a textured, ethereal galaxy of silver obsidian, deep blue goldstone, glowing opalite, and tiny, fiery real opal rondelles. 🌌✨

Swipe to see the back! Because true luxury is in the details, the reverse side features a hidden geometric, rose-like seed bead lattice work that feels just as beautiful against the skin as it looks from the front (it also helps protect that gorgeous stone from skin oils and sweat). 🌹

This heirloom-quality showstopper is officially in progress. Stay tuned to see how the rest of this magical layout comes together!

Which view is your favorite—the vibrant blue flash or the secret rose lattice on the back? Let me know in the comments! 👇
