🌈Rainbow Fringe Earrings - in mini Button Blankets and Ravenstail Design are available in my shop (link below)!

The pair of mini button blankets on the top left are made with opaque rainbow beads and the other three pairs are made with silver-lined rainbow beads. Both are very vibrant and beautiful- personally I like the solid beads, but I LOVE the silver lined ones 🤩 I think they just have so much more depth and shine.

🌈A newish design with a rainbow border - sold

The white pair also has aqua beads that are supposed to look like abalone buttons (vs the other ones with the white beads that are supposed to look like mother of pearl buttons).

Starting June 1, I am challenging myself to not recreate any of my previous earrings. I’m going to try this out through August, but my stretch goal is 6 months.

In these past weeks of sobriety- I’m seeing that I have a pretty clear comfort zone with beading and tho it may not look like it from the outside, I have been in a creative slump.

It’s not necessarily a bad thing, life is full of ups, downs and plateaus - all of which hold so much value. My creative plateau was a space where I found my aesthetic; I know for sure what my strengths are as an artist, now I want to build on that foundation.

There’s def more to this- drinking impacted my creativity and my willingness to take creative risks. My mental health has been quite shaky, so I also found a lot of comfort in remaking past designs. So again, it’s not all bad, but nothing changes if nothing changes.

In order to support this change and make some space in my shop- I am having a SALE this Memorial Day weekend on all the earrings in my website (including preorders).

{NFS} These bright, striking Abalone Pe**te Leaf Earrings were made as a custom order

These earrings have a unique 8 color palette of 4 shades of pink and 4 shades of orange 🩷🧡 I inverted the bead colors on each side so they really shine.

Once upon a time this was my FAVE color combo, so making these was a happy trip down memory lane. Even tho I love these colors, I was unsure of how they would look with the abalone shells; let me say just adore how they turned out!

⭐️Pe**te Leaf Earrings that are currently available in my shop⭐️

My Pe**te Leaf Earrings are made in a few different sizes, including: XL (not pictured) are 5 rows wide, Regular are 4 rows wide, Small are 3 rows wide and Mini are 2 rows wide.

The silver triple-tiered pair with Dentalium is made with a mix of Small and Mini Pe**te Leaves

I had intentions to put out a new tutorial for how to make these- but there are already quite a few of them already available on YouTube…... but I might just do it anyway! I think troubleshooting or color/design tips might be helpful for some folks.

For now, if you’re searching for a tutorial for this style of earrings, they’re also called Folded Pe**te Leaf or Twisted Pe**te Leaf and/or Folded Twisted Pe**te Leaf.
