Such a fun time making silver/stone rings with and last night at The class was so well organized and they let you do the process but are there every step of the way to give some helpful hands on assistance to keep things moving and safe for beginners. Highly recommend doing one of their classes! I had every intention of making an amethyst ring for my baby’s birthstone but the turquoise spoke to me. I’ll have to go back!

ART on the GRAND will be my first show post baby! Looking forward to getting back to it and seeing some familiar faces this spring!

Beth Jensen of Altered Notions will be at ART on the GRAND in Downtown Farmington on June 6 & 7.

Based in Ferndale, Altered Notions was created as a way to unite Beth's loves of creating and being eco-friendly. All of her jewelry is made from upcycled materials, primarily vintage tea and biscuit tins. Pictured here are Floral Tin Earrings crafted from a vintage metal serving tray.

If you saw me at an art show this year and I looked tired, blame it on baby! We’re so excited to welcome our first child, but it does mean cutting back on jewelry making and shows for a bit! You’ll likely see me back out there in June with a limited run in 2026. For now, you can get items on my website and reach out if you’re looking for something special.
Tomorrow 12/19 at noon is my last post office run until the new year!

These cute bookmarks have been so popular this festival season, so I’m working on another big batch for my show at The Hawk in Farmington Hills on Oct 18! They make a fun stocking stuffer and great gifts for your book club if you’re already in holiday shopping mode!

It can be a lot of fun doing custom orders and making someone else’s creative idea come to life. I was approached to make a bunch of jewelry from these funky tins for a group of Underberg superfans. I’m told they were a big hit!
