Just thinking about all the waterfalls and swimming holes I explored this summer, and how grateful I am that I chose to adventure instead of “staying busy.” At some point mid-summer, I realized I was just trying to fill my time with staying “productive,” you know how us Westerners do, and I realized summer would be over quickly…and what memories would I have to keep me warm over the winter? And here we are, during “fake fall,” warm socks and sweats on, and I am so grateful I decided to live life rather than pass the time. Time. What a gift.

Another gift is my dear friend BIRDEE | Fine Art & Underwater Photographer visiting for a second summer! She is the magician behind these beautiful photos she took of my jewels and I at my favorite waterfall 🤍🫶🏽 Love love love.

A few years back, I took a poisonous plant class where, to put it simply, I learned about 5 different species, their history and became more familiar with their energetics.

I planted moonflower earlier this spring, not realizing it was actually another name for Datura. A very unique poisonous plant I had learned about with heavy folklore and reverence within indigenous cultures, as well as with the “witches.” 🧹

The other night, I arrived home late, and as I descended towards my house, I noticed that amongst her vines swirling around my patio, she had given life to her first bloom! She was larger than the size of my entire hand and smelled hauntingly sweet. Majestic, protective, death and softness intertwined within a dance.

In the morning and throughout the entirety of the day, she took her time curling in, and by the next morning, she had fallen from her vine. She opened for a moment and knew when to let go. Being able to witness the one bloom was a gift, and I am in deep awe and honoring of this plant and her teachings.

This plant also is not to be toyed with. Just to create deeper clarity, there is a fine line between hallucinations and death. I simply sit with her in appreciation, never ever to ingest. Don’t be a silly goose. Don’t ever f around and find out with this one.

A few talismans to remind us…scroll for their intentions↠↠↠

The Petite Duomo and The Tea Serpent rings were both woven with the intention of knowing and trusting that you are grounded and steady within. The Tea Serpent adds an extra layer of rising knowledge and strength that comes from that deep presence and stillness.

The Alchemist’s Pendant serves as a reminder that life is a perfect alchemy. All is connected, all is woven together.

The Resurrection Ring traveled with me to Sicily and has sat for countless tea sits at different waterfalls in the rainforest - all while she patiently waits for her forever home to call her in. ⟡⟡⟡ I believe each adventure infuses my precious creations with its unique energy - and this ring already has such a deep, soulful story to share.
