What does it really mean to shop small and shop local?
It means that you are not just purchasing an item, you are honoring your local artisans, entrepreneurs, and small business owners. You are bettering the lives and fulfilling the dreams of neighbors, and their children, and their children's children. You are teaching your own children the value of community, as well as showing them that ingenuity, passion, creativity and quality craftsmanship are values that may be pursued within their own reach, right around the corner or just down the street. You are inspiring new ideas, encouraging new growth, celebrating newly widened circles of friendship.
