Happy Spring! I've come out of hibernation for a special one-time opportunity to relaunch the bird nest necklaces for spring, baby showers, and Mother's Day! It's been a couple years since I posted, so I'm not sure how many of this will reach (so if you do see it, please comment and let me know!).
For a limited time, I'm taking orders for custom bird nest necklaces. I am currently expecting my first baby, and I thought it would be fun to return to one of my hobbies for a short time before she gets here this summer.
Handmade with my signature stainless steel (hypoallergenic, environmentally friendly, and never rusts or corrodes!), you can customize the colors, number of eggs, and chain lengths. Because I don't have the overhead of my business anymore, I'm able to offer them for less of a price and not charge extra for customization since they will all be made to order. All come in my signature handmade paper box and ready to gift (if you know you know!)
Please allow 1-2 weeks for me to make them as I'll be ordering supplies once I see how much I'll need. Please comment below with any questions!

Last sneak peek for tomorrow's Jewelry Closeout Sale - FB Live: the remainders of the Kris Collection and the Amanda Collection, inspired by their stories. Originally, I was donating 10% of sales to a good cause related to their story (Kris: a scholarship fund at Midland Area Community Foundation; Amanda: YWCA Great Lakes Bay Region), but since I still want good to come of it, I'll be donating all of the proceeds of these pieces to the organizations! Pieces were originally $58-$300. Pieces will be marked 50-60% in the live sale tomorrow, so you'll get a great deal on a high-quality meaningful piece AND you'll be doing a lot of good for other people.
PS: With any purchase tomorrow night, you'll be able to add on a $15 surprise box that will include several pieces of jewelry for a total value of up to $80.

It's been a while! I finally made some new designs--using the flowers I've been gathering and pressing this summer. $20 for the small ones, $25 for the larger: you let me know the length you want for the chain. $4 shipping. Let me know if you'd like one!

It's with a heavy heart that I write this message. This pandemic has caused me to really take a chance to slow down and see what I want my life to look like, and I've come to the conclusion that I want step back from my jewelry-making as a business and enjoy it as a hobby instead so that I can focus energy elsewhere. I WILL still be making jewelry, but only when it makes sense for me. There will be a few changes you'll begin to see, and I'll outline them below. Above all, I want to thank you for following along this journey with me!

CHANGES:
* No more website, starting immediately. The URL is currently redirected to my Etsy shop until October.

*Etsy shop will remain temporarily open until the listings I've already paid for expire. Most expire July 18, so get shopping if you'd still like something!

*I WILL still be making custom orders. Reach out if you have something in mind. I'll also be making one-of-a-kind pieces and posting them here as I feel inspired. Want something for a wedding? Baby shower? Bridal party gifts? Please be in touch, as I love to do custom work.

*I'll be hosting a sale later this summer, details to be determined, to clear out current inventory. Stay tuned here if you'd like to shop! Afterwards, the rest of the jewelry will go to a couple of consignment shops for you to purchase there.

*Finally, soon you will notice a name change. That is because I have officially unregistered my DBA (Doing Business As), so I'll be operating under my own name. When you see "Kirsten Marie Jewelry" or something to that effect pop up, that's why!

I’ve only read the introduction so far, and I’m already in love. Here’s a snippet:
