Small art can be especially useful in a kitchen because the room is usually full of awkward spaces where a giant statement piece would make no sense.

An open section above a counter, a narrow wall beside cabinetry, or a carefully styled shelf can all give a small print a place to stand out without adding a lot of visual clutter.

The practical part matters too. Kitchens are working spaces, so keep artwork away from high heat, splashes, and any spot where it gets in the way of actually using the room.

You do not need to decorate every empty surface. Sometimes one colorful piece does enough.

A little preview of three bracelets coming with me to the October pop-up: mint, orange, and strawberry, all inspired by chocolate flavor combinations.

Beaumont friends, Flora Celeste will be at Oz Cafe on October 17 from 10 AM to 2 PM.

I’m planning to bring food-themed art prints, chocolate-flavor-inspired beaded bracelets, plus Maple Sunflower Butter Cookies and Spiced Pumpkin Cookies.

There will be more reminders as we get closer, but for now you can officially put it on the calendar.

AI can be useful for plenty of things, but I do not outsource the part of Flora Celeste that I actually want to do.

The artwork itself is drawn by me.

This time-lapse is part of the process behind the Chocolate Bars piece, a fictional collection of flavors including dark, sea salt, mint, peanut butter, strawberry, and orange.

The imaginary chocolate company is just for fun. The drawing process is real.
