One word of advice I always give to Young collectors is to buy the best piece you can with the money you have. So many of us try to buy so many things when we start out to build our collection and we end up having TMS which is too much stuff. Quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten. I saw this on a tick tock and had to share. You can always sell the good stuff, the junk will sit....

First time I've seen this one. A new design on an old scam. Clearly marked 18k, clearly brass. Don't buy your gold from a gas station. It is never real. Look at all the pawn shops and we buy Gold places around. Why would they sell it in a gas station parking lot if it was real? The first and third will be pretty fun nights. The first will be the coin and Jewelry show at RJ's Diner, and Thursday night will be the jewelry dig, also at RJ's diner. 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for both events.

Be Aware!
Was being followed this morning on the way to the coin show. Did three turns and was still followed. Turned around in a parking lot of a shopping center and got away.
Not sure what that was all about, but better safe than sorry. Never be too safe in this business....
