Sparkle Strands are very fine, silk hair sparkles that are securely tied to an individual strand of your hair. Each shimmering thread lasts until you naturally shed that hair. That could be a day, month or even a year… that’s part of the magic of it all! While it’s impossible to predict, a couple clients have had a few sparkles remain after over a year! Sparkle Strands bring a little magic, a bit of light, and oh yes—lots of joy! As Hair Sparklers here in Central Oregon, we believe each strand represents your own inner sparkle. Of that always present light within you. We’re on a mission to spark more love and joy in your life, one strand at a time.

Bend, we need each other now more than ever. ❤️ In the wake of the tragedy at Silver Rail Elementary, our community is carrying so much grief, sadness, and so many big emotions. While we know a fun afternoon doesn’t take away the hurt, we believe there’s room for both grief and joy, and that coming together matters now more than ever.

Sparkle Strands has blossomed into something beautiful, and it’s all because of the incredible community we get to serve. Now the 8 of us on the Sparkle Squad want to bring you all together, so clients can finally meet the other Sparklers (and each other!) to network, connect, and celebrate. 7 years of joy have brought us this incredible community and we can’t wait to be in the same room together.

Can you believe it’s already September?! 🍂 We’re easing into autumn with softer, warmer sparkle tones and we’d love to get you shining before the season shifts.

We’ll be at all the remaining Saturday NWX farmers markets, including our final Northwest Crossing Farmers Market of the season on September 26th. September 26th is a big one, with THREE events happening — Redmond, Sisters, and Northwest Crossing! Come find us for that first week of autumn magic. Hope to see your shiny face out there! ✨🧡

A long overdue introduction to our compassionate, lovely Sparkle Squad member, Yvette! Yvette has been sparkling with us for over 2 years now. She’s a mama extraordinaire and we are so grateful to have her as part of Sparkle Strands. Yvette loves seeing the pure joy and excitement on people’s faces when they experience their sparkling hair for the first time. She also really enjoys the hands on aspect of this work. It’s a fun skill to know and be able to offer our community

Beyond sparkling, Yvette enjoys being with her two daughters and her partner. She loves exploring the outdoors, both in Central Oregon and beyond. One of their favorite spots is Wickiup Reservoir in the summer.

She feels that having the opportunity to light up magic in people’s lives and knowing every client leaves with a little more sparkle in their step is an honor and so much fun.

Introducing our very first hair stylist to the Sparkle Squad, Cherish! Come see her tonight at our debut at Alpenglow Concert series. When sparkling, Cherish feels there is something truly special about getting to meet new people and getting to play a small part in making them feel amazing. What lights her up most about Sparkle Strands is knowing that what we do gives people an extra reason to smile.

Beyond sparkling, Cherish loves being in nature, traveling, and soaking up live music. She believes there is nothing better than exploring somewhere new or losing herself in a great set. When she’s home, her dog Aspen keeps life fun and full of adventure. And at the end of the day, it’s all about the people, good times with friends and family are what truly light her up!
