Happy Memorial Day weekend!! We plan to start putting plants in the garden. We have a few Roma and Amish Paste tomatoe plants available for purchase, as well as six packs of green bell peppers, and Cinnamon Basil plants. Send us a message if you are interested 🌱🌻🌞

It’s that time of the year- we have Maple Syrup!

Everything is in glass canning jars this year as we find most customers like it for granola and other treats.

This weeks employee of the week… Callie. We think Callie is about 8-10 years old, she was free from a neighbor. I can’t remember the last time she laid an egg- but she is the kids favorite and our most friendly hen. She also is the boss hen and tells everyone else when the good snacks are.

Friday Employee of the week… Flappy is a Silver Appleyard duck who keeps us entertained with her antics- shes usually the flock leader for adventures like a swim in the Mississippi. Flappy lays great eggs all year round when the chickens take a winter break.

Want to raise your own chicks? We love these heaters for the birds, which provide warmth and a safe place to hide. These little day-old chicks will expand our egg colors this year; they are happy and warm inside the house for now.

A little garden PSA from the Tiny… For all you fruit tree fans out there, now is the time to prune apples & pears! If you are just getting started, we recommend planting bare root trees in the early spring and pruning them hard the first year for easier management and long term production.
