We found refuge in jewelry making, using local materials and techniques to create beautiful pieces that reflect our culture and identity. We opened a small shop in Venezuela, named Maria Loreto after Laura’s mother who was also a jewelry maker who taught Laura her craft. We gained popularity and success, and we decided to take our brand to the world. We sold our jewelry online and in international fairs, showing our talent and originality.
