Amazing night celebrating the talent and warmth of Lesley MahoneyO'Connell and the release of her debut book at
"Ripple Effect" is a stunningly beautiful collection of 11 stories and has been a painstakingly labor for over 6 years.
I am honored to have my work as it's cover art. It's my first painting as a book cover and I am thrilled for it to be attached to such incredible work.

Another 1st, last night was my first artwork on a cake too! So fun!

Been in Scituate 16yrs (!) and finally made it to the top of Lawson Tower today.

It is a weird little bit of history as it was built by an excentric copper magnet at the turn of the century. It is fascinating inside, and the same stairs, wainscot and beams as my house (we live in the former estate dog kennels). The owner, Thomas Lawson, also owned 1000 acres of the town, had a race track, 200 race horses, 200 bulldogs, built his own train to Scituate from Boston and lost it all by the mid 1920s. The 153ft tower has remained though.

The 3rd graders screamed up and down the the dark 123 spiral stairs, rang the bells (it's now a bell tower but was originally hiding a water tower) and said it was SO scary.

It's only open a few times a year to go up. They run tours and decorate at Halloween. I'm sure that would be spooky.
Worth the climb, the view is fantastic, love it's quirky history and it's architecture is truly stunning.
