October 17–18, Bernard James is opening private consultations at USM SoHo for engagement rings and wedding bands.
Come with a design, a stone, references, an existing engagement ring - or simply an idea. Bernard will guide the conversation around natural diamonds, proportion, setting, materials and design direction.

We’re closing our books for 2026 bespoke engagement rings. Customized engagement rings and wedding bands remain available beyond this weekend.

After spending so much time with the two of you on this ring, getting to see it finally make its way onto Kiana’s hand feels pretty special.
There were so many conversations, decisions, and little details that went into getting it right — which makes seeing Nia’s proposal, and all the moments that followed, that much better.

For [ InProcess ], we looked at light as another material within the space—shaping atmosphere, drawing focus, and changing how the installation is experienced. was the perfect source for that element.

Most pieces don’t need to be replaced. They just need a moment of care.

Join us Saturday, October 10 for complimentary 15-minute jewelry cleaning + care appointments at Bernard James × USM.

Our Greenpoint store is temporarily closed while renovations are underway. For now, find us at 28–30 Greene Street, SoHo, through November 7.

A limited number of appointments are available from 12–5 PM.

Introducing the Vault Collection — a study [ In Process ], revealing how a piece is made by leaving the evidence of its making visible.

The Vault Pendant is an empty setting, left open after its stone was removed, exposing the architecture normally hidden beneath it.

Rather than restore it, we kept the structure intact and set the interior with brown diamonds, with white diamonds along the bail.
