RESPONDING TO A COMMENT. After the last reel about how we flush and clean our black tank we received a bunch of comments/ messages asking where the black water goes.. well here is our set up.

RV QUICK TIP! We are back from@our big 47 day trip across the country and so now it’s time to give our Montana a good cleaning. That includes the holding tanks. We never flushed while on the road, just did our regular travel day routine of adding about 1 gallon of water and Unique tank treatment. Our tanks never had bad smells or clogs but they sure needed a good cleaning. This is our process for getting the tanks ready for our next outing. I know everyone has a way of doing it, but this seems to work well for us.

RV QUICK TIP! We ALWAYS go down the road with our TPMS on and monitoring our tire pressure and temperatures. We have noticed on our TPMS that over the past 8000 miles when we are in rapid changing elevations and fluctuations in temperature and humidity, the TPMS will alert us that we have a low pressure situation. When we see this alert, we immediately pull over in a safe spot and check the tires. We noticed that by “resetting” the valve stem sensor it clears the alert and starts to read properly.
1️⃣it is important to stop and check every time you get an alert 2️⃣confirm that you have the right amount of pressure in your tires 3️⃣ continue to monitor the tires. Again, we would never consider not having a TPMS system. We use the Haloview BT 7 with TPMS and love it.

RV QUICK TIP! Pretty much every campground you go to will have you place a placard in your window letting the park know that you are supposed to be there. Fair enough, but those placards are full of information that could lead to someone helping themselves to your RV.
I recommend that when you leave camp to explore, go shopping, or find a nice place to eat, you take that placard out of your window.

1️⃣wear comfy shoes 2️⃣Bring the plastic.. the show is pretty much cashless 3️⃣ enjoy the local area. This area is a great place for dining, site seeing, and some great Amish baked goods!!
